I've been there on March 14. Every single detail was perfect and of extreme excelence: food, wine, service, ambient. You should not miss once in Santiago, definitely. For sure one of the top 10 restaurants of my life. I was quite impressed by service: they pumper and praise the client. Food is ridiculously tasty and unique. They take kitchen science... More

We went for a special anniversary dinner. My husband, familiar with mapuche culture, was amused and happy! Much more delicious than typical "ancestral" food. An imaginative and talented chef experiments with native ingredients and designs a flavorful, beautiful, and generous meal. Don't miss the dessert sampler, perfect for 3 or 4 people to share, a really interesting combination of artisanal... More

This is an amazing foodie experience; professional staff, the Chilean décor and the ancestral menu with a modern twist. The amuse bouche was a potato cake with horse tartare which my partner was not keen on but did enjoy it! So from that point she was not keen on offal or domestic animal courses. The complimentary bread platter is visually... More

Different food, kind of fusion food. kitchen that experiments with local foodstuffs to unusual flavours. We liked, staff fully explain the menu. Exellent service. Nice place. If you want something different, try this.

Everything was going quite well. The appetizer series was great (but the lamb). The bread series was very good. Ambiance very comforting. Main course very enjoyable until the waitress brought someone to smoke two tables from mine (in an enclosed building). After just two bites of the main course I could not eat anymore. The check was ordered immediately and... More

Agree with others this is a good experience rather than 'good food'. Some of the items on the menu are for the adventurous only. Horse meat, sweetbreads. These I do not usually eat and I can't say after trying it I like it either. The best part was the complimentary bread tasting place which has assortment of ancient breads from... More

If you download the menu, you will see quickly that this is a kitchen that experiments with local foodstuffs to yield unusual flavors. We liked much of what was presented enormously, and were less keen on some dishes. The variation didn't bother us because the meal was interesting and fun. The rooms are rustic and informal. The staff gives takes... More

This was more an experience than delicious food. Staff explained food fully, but many of the items , whist obviously well prepared, were not to our taste with some elements of the dish seemed superfluous. Can recommend le carmanere from their wine list.

We were intrigued to try out this restaurant. We hoped to learn more about Chilean food and the regions and history of the area. The restaurant is very pretty and the staff solicitous, in fact over solicitous. The menu choices seemed overly fussy and precious. Tiny overworked bits of this and that came out on beautiful slabs of stone. Some... More
