The restaurant is located in an area with excellent restaurants nearby (Italian and other cuisines) in what one could consider a gourmet ghetto. So, you have several good choices. The locale has apparently been renovated recently and now looks very inviting. Our party arrived without making a reservation at around 8:30 pm (early for Santiago standards) and were seated right... We loved the food here. I had the lasagne and my husband had a combo plate with three different pastas. They were both fantastic. The only thing I would say is that the wine list could use a little sprucing up. While it was all affordable, it would be nice to see an Italian wine or two on the list.... More

Been here twice in the last six months and both visits have been great. Pasta dishes are really very tasty and the service is good. We had pesto and vongole dishes. Very clean restrooms. Showed up with no reservation and waiters were happy to let us (a couple) sit at a table for 4 even though the place filled up.... More

We hit this nice little spot while shopping in Vitacura on our last day of a two week trip to Chile. If we had discovered it earlier in our trip, then we would have DEFINITELY gone back! My wife and I both had the spaghetti alla vongole and my daughter had some penne with pesto sauce. All of the pasta... More

Took a while to find due to the google pin being in the wrong location, but once we got here it was delicious. Best pasta in Santiago so far. Fresh ingredients, well presented and friendly service. Ten out of ten.

After eating a lot of beef, we were in the mood for Italian. We decided to try this place and are glad we did. ?When we arrive at 9:30pm we were skeptical because there was no one there, then realized WE were early for Chilean standards. I ordered Cesar Salad w/ chicken, a little different than the American version, but... More

La Dolce Vita is a true italian restaurant in Chile. It is absolutely worth a visit if you want a good quality meal and to escape the typical image that italians are good only for pasta and pizza. They are, but there is much more... The owner is very welcoming, the ambience is good, we liked the terrace. The risotto... More

Very quaint and cozy atmosphere. Pasta was delicious and I don't say that easily when I eat pasta out. Excellent gnocchi. Service was super, owner was present and very friendly and attentive. My only complaint is that is was a bit pricey- but that's Santiago. Very enjoyable place to have a meal. The dessert sampler (degustacion de postres) was great!... More

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful meal within walking distance from out hotel in Vitacura, Chile. We made a reservation just to be sure even though it was off season. We arrive at our appointed time and were met by our waiter at the door. We got seated right away and ordered a round of cocktails, Pisco Sour with... More
