The food was OK-ish but this in no way is a gourmet experience, as it is sold, and is way too overpriced. It costs like many of santiago's best restaurants and it is certainly not at that level

I went to Cascarrabia for dinner with friends on a Friday night. The place is nice and the service was good from the start... After a ver nice surprise with the coctail (we had a Fresh Campari) it all went downhill... It wasn't that the food was terrible. It was just that it was so pretentitous for the very average... I eat out a lot, not just in Chile, but all over. I have been to Lima's best (Central, Maido, A&G) I have been to all the restaurants locally; on Vitacura, all of them on Nueva Costenera, Lastarria, Bellavista, etc....you name it, I have been there. Point is, I have high standards. Cascarrabia is the perfect package. It does not... More

Cascarrabia is a culinary adventure, if you take the time to enjoy. I search for excellent food while traveling on business (one of the few perks of travel). I, as an American, arrived at 6:45pm. Like most Chilean Restaurants, I was the first. I had only an appetizer, based on Chef Angelo Poloni's recommendation, and an entre, also based on... More

I've been there once, August 2014 and ordered Fish. My girlfriend ordered Ox tongue and was incredible, both meals. I strongly recommend.

Great food. We've been there a number of times. Slightly expensive, but the in-betweens are also great. The menu changes each couple of weeks. A young Chilean chef who practiced at the TAFE in Australia and worked in both Sydney and Melbourne.

Was invited to this restaurant with group of 15 people for a business dinner. I wasn't disappointed with its quality, food and service but it is a bit too pricy overall... Bruschettas are excellent. Do I recommend it? Yes but get your wallet ready before you get there....

I have been working my way through the list of top recommended restaurants in Santiago, but so far none have been consistently as good as Cascarrabia. The staff is warm and welcoming, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the food is excellent. A rare treat.
