I know that everyone likes Santiago's "Aqui esta Coco", but for half the price per person we found a gem in Pachamama ! Their is nothing better than trying a locals only culinary treasure in the company of a regular local connoisseur. The family atmosphere and attentive service was just perfect. Pachamama menu is full of the top Peruvian preparations... More

I was told that this was one of the best Peruvian restaurants in Santiago Chile.I went with my daughter and her boyfriend. The place was clean, bright, cheery and busy. There was a mixed crowd of Ladies Night Out,Friends and Family. The waiters were efficient and fast.We weren't super hungry so we tried the tasting platter of mixed seafood which contained octopus, ceviche, shrimp and... We had an excellent dinner at Pachamama yesterday. The pulpo a la tinta is really superb and that would have been sufficient for a meal, but it was only an appetizer. We had a lamb, a fish, and a ceviche as our entrees and they were all delicious. The service was outstanding with all the waiters who served us being... More

Pachamama used to be a great option for Peruvian food in Chile. But not so much now... On my last visit, the Trio de Ceviches Pachamama portions were very small, not very flavorful and the fish was tough. The Pescado Pachamama is supposed to come with crab meat and asparagus baked on top. I never found the crab meat and... More

The Peruvian gem of Santiago, so good it has two sister restaurants owned by the same owner "Machu Picchu" and "Tres Continentes" which are also good, but Pachamama is the best. If you've never tried real, fresh peruvian ceviche, or looking to enjoy a mix of cuisines please make it out to this restaurant. I mean top-notch cuisine with delicious... More

The octopus (pulpo) appetizer is to die for. It was perfectly cooked, and perfectly lightly dressed with olive oil and lemon juice. The restaurant has 2 different ceviche items, both of which are fantastic. There is a wide choice of other seafood items. The service was good, although not as great as the food. The pisco sour was excellent. We... More

We went there on a Friday night...although the website said they open at 7.30, we could not get in the restaurant until 8 o'clock, so that is the first drawback. After they let us get in the restaurant we still had to wait for 15 more minutes because they said they were not taking orders yet. After around 10 minutes... More

This is a nice restaurant, with very good food and big portions, so don´t be afraid to share, specially the chaufa and risotti Fresh ceviche and all the typical Peruvian cuisine is well represented. The desserts are on the weak side. As some of the contributors here noted, the service is not very engaging, but I pay for food, not... More

I took three teenagers aged 15 and 16 for lunch at this place on a weekday. The man who helped me park in their comfortable private car park was extremely kind and helpful, which can't be said of the waiters, whose attitude was in general correct but aloof. If you asked, they would respond but that was it. This marks... More
