Les Trois was EASILY our favorite meal in Santiago. It was so spectacular, in fact, we went back multiple times. The short story- the food is delicious and elevated. The beer, wine, and cocktails are in a league of their own. The ambiance is cozy...and makes for effortlessly good photos. Les Trois could hold its own in any city in the world. The full story- Les Trois is family owned and operated so the atmosphere is cozy, welcoming, and friendly. Ruben tends to the front of house and makes some of the most spectacular cocktails in Santiago. His sister, Enedy, is a truly natural born chef- wise well beyond her years. Their mother, Ana, can be spotted gliding gracefully between dining room and kitchen, tying everything together. They were the most lovely people we met on our trip. We first stopped in on a whim after midnight. We were expecting some quick bar food but what we got was some of the best food we've ever had while traveling. The menu changes depending on what is in season but I can highly recommend the papas rusticas, the taquitos, and the bruschetta. Les Trois was our favorite place for breakfast as well. We loved the puffy pancake, and the on-plate-skillet omelette, and the fresh squeezed juice. One day, we had a craving for bloody marys. After a day of sightseeing and hunting for bloody marys- we couldnt find one anywhere. We returned to Les Trois and told Ruben our about our day. He presented us with not one but two different bloody marys (he calls his specialty a Bloody Maria) complete with his homemade jalapeno salt. This is my favorite cocktail so I mean it when I say- the spicy Les Trois Bloody Maria is out of this world. I wish I had one right now! I could go on and on but the bottom line is - This is a world class restaurant and the absolute crown jewel of Santiago. The hotel that shares the building is lucky to have this family on site. We will be back!More
