The best unknown Hawker in my opinion. The food is cheap (Dishes from $3) and some of the most delicious I've had in Singapore. I would come here over the likes of Newton Food Centre all day long. If staying in the big chain restaurants over the road, don't be intimidated to head upstairs where all the stalls are. Everybody... More

We usually come here after gym in the morning. Nice & cheap food. Hmm..... it is very crowded at lunch. I also usually buy fruits here for myself.

This is the place to satisfy your gastronomy desires! Here is one of few places we could find authentic local cuisines. There are plenty of choices at very reasonable price. My preference? Yong tau foo. Originate from southern china. Toufu stuffed with meat or fish. Taste refreshing and satisfying. Try what local eat.

At this hawker, follow the crowd, simply queue at the longest line for the best local dishes. Cai Fan, a dish where you select white rice and other dishes. Vegetables, meat (chicken, duck, pork etc) with curry or dark soya sauces. Ming Kee Cooked Food is well priced and delicious. Office ladies and guys will often queued at this shop.... More

There is other local food choices to try. To reach here. Take the east west line. Alight at tanjong pagar.

Good neighbourhood to grasp quick lunch. Offers plenty of choices. Lesser stalls open in the night as it caters to office crowd mainly.

The food centre is just opposite to my hotel. There is no air-conditioning, but has fans. When I saw this shop (Blue Star Fishball Minced Meat Noodle) was selling fishball noodle, I wanted to try. It costs only 3 Singapore dollars for 1 bowl. It took about 10-15 minutes to wait for the food. It is because only 1 man... More

This is a 2-storey building: - lower floor is wet market and 2 fruit stalls that run 24 hours - upper floor is where you'll find stalls offering all kinds of local cooked food at cheap prices. Definitely a convenient loation is you are staying nearby. N.B. In the building next to this is a 24-hour NTUC supermart
