Service is damn slow. 1 item they forget to make and waited for 30 mins still didn't delivered to table. Not much tasty, some smelly oil has been used to fry things.

Went here for lunch with a group of six. Nice selection on the menu. Settled for fish tikka and shared cauliflower baggies with friends. All food served on banana leaves. I think this may be a good experience for visitors to Singapore as it gives...a cultural experience. However if you want regular Indian food I believe there are better options and less expensive options. The beer was dreadful and watery so best avoided. Adequate but not somewhere I would go of my own choice. Seems to be exempt from social distancing requirements!More

One of the best Indian restaurant in town! Just heads up, gets super busy and service sometime is a little bit slow due to how busy they are but overall, recommend!

Was really satisfied eating traditional South Indian meal here in this restaurant. Had Mutton Dum Briyani and Lambshank, tasted really good 😋

I had arrived in Singapore in Dec 2019 for a long term project and it was around 15 odd days I had tasted chapati/Roti/Naan etc. By Gods grace one of my colleague was vising SG for couple of weeks at the same time. So when...I told her that I wanted to have some good Indian food she suggested me this place. Later that evening we were here for Dinner. We ordered Dal Makhni and Butter Paneer with Roti. The food felt like we are having it at any restaurant in India. The home taste. That was amazing feeling. Once this circuit breaker is over would love to go again.More

We ordered curry to be delivered to our home. The delivery driver arrived 2 hours after the scheduled delivery, and he did not even notify us in advance. Obviously the food was, by then, not even luke warm. No apology was offered by the delivery...driver, and Banana Leaf did not even respond on my complaint email. That’s what I call terrible customer service, I would not recommend ordering delivery from this restaurant.More

We had fish head curry with 2 plates of white rice that was served with 2 different kinds of vegetables, a basket of papadam and 2 glasses of lime juice. Service from a Chinese gentleman waiter and a couple of other Indian waiters was good....The bowl of curry was huge for just the 2 of us so we had to takeaway a packet each. I always enjoy the fish head curry when I dine in this restaurant. My friend ordered a packet of chicken briyani for only $9 plus a piece of garlic naan and we were both surprised the plastic bag with the food was huge and heavy!More

I went to the Race course road restaurant around 22:00 at night and there were few patrons I wanted to order crab but the waiter told me I won't manage it and I should rather try the "prawn mango curry". I wondered what was wrong...with the crab but decided to go with his advice to avoid disappointment. The prawn dish was actually very nice. I had a side of jeera rice & plain naan. Portions are quite generous so I couldn't finish the meal which I pack (it still tasted very good the next day). The meal is eaten on a banana leaf. The restaurant was highly recommended for me and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys south and north Indian cuisine. Spicing can be adjusted to your taste. I thought the decor and the poppadoms were a bit dated.More

Came across this restaurant when walking around Little India and had a great lunch. Food was full of flavour and all tasted freshly made. The service was also very good and the place was clean and organised. Very busy restaurant with a large number of...Asian people which is always a good sign of good authentic food.More
