Situated on Riverside Point, Merchant Road. Instead of joining the hoards eating in the riverside restaurants go upstairs to CFJ family restaurant where you will enjoy a tranquil atmosphere and food to die for!!!

This restaurant is on the floor above Jumbo's and takes care of their overflow, luring in customers who don't want to wait 30 minutes plus for a table. The restaurant as such is in a pretty said state of affair and the crab fails to impress as well. The chili sauce just being a bit too sweet.

We were coaxed in whilst waiting to get in at Jumbos. Promised $56 chilli crab, also ordered crispy baby squid, rice and fish in bean sauce. Crab was very average, lots of ginger. Had a lot better chilli crab. Rest of the meal was good but expensive Total cost was $260. Charged a lot more for the crab than promised.... More

After trying out Jumbo, better change to somewhere else. Otherwise will be monotonous. Since they are close by, as in upstairs from Jumbo, why not. After meal, can walk along the riverside. There is wide variety stated in the menu, with Cantonese style cooking. Left out the crab since already had many time some where else. When the order came,... More

How disappointing it was for us to have our very 1st meal in Singapore at this place. As other reviewers have suggested, if there is a queue @ Jumbo's, either join it OR go somewhere else. The quality and presentation of the dishes that we chose was unacceptable. The food was below average, small serves and zero presentation about it.... More

Saturday night, Jumbo's is chokka block so we take the chance and go upstairs to CFJ. It's utterly dreadful. Even for Clarke Quay where you expect to get ripped off this place is poor value. The crab/tofu thing (yes, thing) tasted like cold snot, the rice dish was bearable but the scallop brocolli dish tasted like nothing, nothing at all.... More

My wife and I headed for Jumbo's as on this and the previous night it was well attended...a good sign. When we got there we were told there was an hour wait. Adjacent to Jumbo's entrance was an escalator to a restaurant above. Thought we'd take a look and immediately got pounced on by one of the staff. We thought... More

Restaurant is right above Jumbos in Clarke Quay. Near the entrance to Jumbos is an escalator. Jumbos get very busy and with or without a booking a large queue can form. The same foos is served upstairs at CFJ, chilli crabs etc all by weight. You get a elevated view from the windows overlooking the river, Found the marble table... More

This was not my first time dining at CFJ, and yet I can never stop coming to the restaurant over and over again. I love the seafood served there. When I was there for the first time round, my parents ordered Chilli crab and onion crabs and when I was here on the 16th, we ordered several flavours of the... More
