Good place for brunch and the drink was really good! You may go for their dessert as well. And one of a good place to chill. :)

I love their brunch! They are really yummy!!! The Smoked Salmon Benedict is great, I also love their avocado (cubes) toast. I tried their matcha avocado tart and end up ordering one more. Their waffle is nice too. Wanted to try their matcha latte on...the recent visit but it happened that they don’t have matcha that day (Saturday afternoon). The environment is good and service is ok too - attentive staff.More
So today we’ve came here for lunch. Hmm.. 2pax costs SG$58, the vegetables on the plate is way too sour, sausage is salty, the toast is way too hard to bite(sorry to say, maybe my teeth is too week), the Affogato tastes nice though, iced...latte is nice with extra sugar, the place is very crowded during lunch time on Sunday. Overall is good but I think the place is lack of “human touch” from the service staff... probably too busy to engage or smile.More
In Singapore we can be a forgiving lot, especially in the Breakfast brunch sphere where crowds abound during peak periods. This is a quaint restaurant tucked along a rather busy street. The service is truly at a low. We had a reservation and arrived on...time to find they “forgot” to check their list ,in spite of the online app reminding us of our booking. When we finally took our seats, our server “who was clearly having a bad day”, showed us her displeasure at wanting to move to a less congested area which became available. Admittedly, the food wasn’t bad and on a good day I’d talk more about it but I’d think twice about coming here again. 🙁More
I went to Stranger's Reunion a couple of times. The coffee and food were always excellent. Serves could have been a bit bigger. I was served by the same waiter both times. She could do a bit more customer service wise, you know, just making...her customers feel welcome.More
As this was a recommended cafe, we made a trip there for brunch on a saturday morning. Coffee was great. I had Magic and my friend a cappucino. Food was above-average since I was served runny scrambled eggs on my Strange Breakfast (name on the...menu). The fancy smoked salmon item was a tad pricey given its sparse allocation of food. Awaited pretty waffles but was greeted with a smashup with our mixed berries and greek yogurt order. Looked like halloween came early! Service was less than friendly - we didn't feel welcoming. Needs improvements to live up to its past reputation.More
We use to come here often every month but ever since they revamp the menu early this year, the quality and quantity drastically dropped alot but the prices remains the same. I ordered the eggs on toast & added the saussage ($4.50) but it turn...out to be like a hotdog and it's very tough. The chibatta bread was so hard as well. Even the customer besides me mentioned the bread is to hard to eat. Vey disappointed that their standard of food has dropped so badly while their prices remain high.More
Never realised the cafe was located here. Its a hidden gem. Great menu and service. Food and coffees are good.
Headed here with my teenage boys for brunch. 3 of us in a sparsely populated rest at 9.30 am. Would not allow us to combine a table for 4 for a complement of 3. Asked for fries to be served before the waffles - were...told up to the kitchen. Could have been dealt with much more politely! Food was ok- nothing particularly spectacular-More
We have been really disappointed by such a place offering food for a suite high price range for basics food. The decoration is really nice, but the roasted potatoes were tasteless, the truffle pasta offers the same result with overcooked pasta, and the tonkatsu sandwich...is really disappointing for it's price (18.5 SGD). Please, make sure to propose al dente pasta, and to season your plate!!!More
This place is a small and hidden gem in the lovely Spottiswood park area. They serve great coffee and great food. Could step up a bit on the service, but if you love your flat white and smashed avocado on toast this is the place...to goMore
Visited the place during Sunday around brunch time. We waited for about 20 minutes before our table were ready. And waited for another 20 minutes before they served our coffees and following by our main. The food were yummy and arranged with a really instagramable...arrangement. Ordered their salmon and kale for the brunch, picollo and magic (too sour to our liking) And ended our brunch with something sweet, Milo crumbles with caramelised banana waffle. Perfection!More
Food was awesome. Try out the crab cake reunion, smashed avocado, and roasted salmon and you won't complain. But...I had to. Just because the waiter and the manager were being so rigid on the seating arrangement. We were 10 in all and wanted to sit...together (of course, right!) but the waiter insisted that our tables could not be pulled together. Why? Beats me! He just said we cannot join more than two tables. So, the rest of our friends sat on the adjacent tables and needless to sat, we were the loudest group...two groups, actually.More
Been there for lunch and a cup after. The salad was fantastic. With duck, sweet potatoes, beet, feta, almonds, pine nuts. Further, I had a filter drip cup with a darker roast tasting like chocolate. So good!
This is my first 1 star review and I don’t take pleasure in it.. but this place is somewhere we’ve been going for over 2 years and have noticed it slowly deteriorating in all the things we loved about it. It’s hip and in a...quiet location near outtram station.. it’s charm is that it is small and HAD nice coffee, brunch and afternoon tea. The last three times we have gone here have been issues with the orders.. on one occasion we had already semi-warm eggs brought out but the side of bacon had been forgotten, the offered to replace it so we waited while the other three meals were brought out to three of us, then it came back with one shriveled piece of bacon which could’ve come from anywhere, accompanied by the now cold and wet eggs dish. On another occasion we asked for no sauce on the dish, of course it came out with sauce all over it, when they took it back to re make it, it came back with the same eggs recooked and the sauce visibly scraped off.. ridiculous. You’ll notice he toilets smell and do not flush, which is disappointing since the decor is generally nice. On the most recent visit it was torrenting down with rain and it was full. Our table booking had not been made ready yet and I had brought my wife and parents for lunch. The guy behind the counter came out and told us to wait outside until the table was ready because the waiting area was quite full.. unbelievable.. it was raining sideways. A little more care and management of the uni students they have working there is needed.More
