Come hungry. There is plenty of food and you won’t leave feeling like you didn’t get your money worth. The menu is omakase and changes by the season. we have the special 10th anniversary dinner which was a little more than the usual price but...with some ingredients they might not usually serve. All In all, it’s a fun evening with lots of food at a reasonable price. It’s not high end but still enjoyableMore

We ordered their daily special which is bara chirashi and steak bowl. Both were very tasty and loved their free-flow miso soup too! I would highly recommend this place if you get a sushi craving!

The restaurant is very small and does not accept reservation for lunch, so be prepared to queue and wait for your seat. Dinner is strictly by reservation only, and only serving omakase. Lunch is mainly don with some side dishes. I ordered scallop kaisen don....The fish was very fresh and the scallop was sweet and juicy. Salmon sashimi was very good too. Wanted to try their moriwase sashimi, but they did not have all 7 types of fish, and refused to give 5 types only (talk about professional code of conduct haha). Very yummy food, even the side dishes were good, plus the sushi rice was free flow so I asked for some more rice to go with the very generous serving of fish in my bowl. Totally satisfied. The chefs are all young and seem to love what they do. They even happily accepted and finished the drinks offered by customers. Very cool and lovely vibe. Will come back again to try other flavors. They have limited weekly specials too.More

Was so looking forward to this meal, turns out to be a huge let down! For the price you pay, you would expect 'wow' customer experience. 1st - from the entrance, service providers seems tired and not welcoming, 2nd - culinary used for the food...is pathetic, 3rd - food serving is not appropriate, and seems rushing for time for customers to finish the food. 4th - restaurant layout - no 5S, very messy, 5th - no used of gloves during food preparation or serving..1 positive note - food is interesting and creative!More

Nice food and wonderful service! The presentation of the food was top notch with each dish. Definitely worth the price, what you pay for is what you get. I'm surely will be back again. :)

Incredible Omakase menu that changes on a monthly basis. The food was delicious and the staff were incredibly positive and quick with service. Great value for money! It's all bar seating, so you're side by side. perhaps for groups larger than 2, you might want...to book the corner so you can somewhat face each other. Highly recommended!More

Dining here was fun, with friendly stuff and good food. There were about 20 covers at our first seating and all came for the omakase dinner. It was great theatre watching the chefs preparing the food in front of diners, and then serving them some...dishes by literally sticking the spoons into your mouth. Food standards were high, and we especially enjoyed the beef with homemade yolk, the lobster sashimi and the minced tuna roll. Some dishes were simple but delicious, including organic carrot with spicy miso and the strawberry and melon sticks. The staff explained each dish as it was served, and even gave extra helpings of fruits to some guests. On the minus side, it is a small and cozy eatery (there is a longer bar area on the other side) and we were often nudged as staff had to mke their way behind the chairs to top up drinks and take orders. Do note you have to make a reservation and also leave a credit card as a booking guarantee, but it worthwhile waiting for. They have two seatings for dinner - at 630 pm and 830 pm.More

Quality of food is subpar, and messy kitchen to the point of being revolting. Helmed by a a team of youngsters who do not seem to know what they are doing, i cannot help but wonder if they are trained chefs, or just simply temporary...workers or relatives and friends. The word Omakase is supposed to mean trust in the chef to deliver the best ingredients of the season, as well as ways of cooking to best show the skills of the chefs. I see none of those, but a bunch of novice crowding in the small open kitchen, scrambling to finish the service so that the next seating can come in. Japanese chefs take pride in cleanliness of the knives, chopping board, all aspects of the food preparation area, and this is a disgrace to the jap culinary.More

The restaurant setting was underwhelming, the menu unknown. However, this little omakase joint which serves 20 pax in 2 seatings per night, is delightful and refreshing. Chef Ving’s laissez faire style left us trying to guess every dish. For 17 dishes costing S$80, it’s a...steal for omakase dining. Better still, the food was really good.More

I visited the restaurant 5yrs ago and was disappointed... this time i came with little expectation but still ended up being terribly dissatisfied. It was a special Hitachi beef set course that costs $128+++, and our party of 8pax unanimously agreed that the dinner was...terrible. Food was mostly lukewarm, perhaps because they prepare in batch of 20 portion in one go. The sukiyaki and shabu both accentuates their flaws on cooking when less than piping hot. Just when we think nothing can go wrong with garlic fried rice, its way too salty and just barely warm. The beef used is reasonbly good quality, but seasoning is way too salty, too much shoyu and salt, and some of the cuts are way too fatty. The kitchen crew seem to consist of mostly novice with little experience. Not to mention the cramped space where customers have to rub shoulders with one another sitting on high chairs without back support. The final straw that broke the camel's back has to be the washing of plates in front of the diners in sinks which are situated right beside where food is prepared. I am fearful that the detergent might be splashed onto the food served. Our group are fervent lovers of Japanese food, especially Japanese beef, but most of us cannot bear to finish the entire meal. Perhaps the only saving grace is the $5 suntory premium malt beer. This omakase has always been famed to be providing good value for money, but i must say that this is nowhere near value, and i can easily find much better. I'd probably wait another 10yrs before the next visit.More
