We popped in for a quick lunch, and had the (between the both of us) amongst other things, the beef rendang, sayur lodeh, chicken curry. All were good, as was the teh tarik. The sambal was also delicious and suitably spicy. If you want coffee...after, it's just next door to Killiney Kopitiam.More

Having enjoyed dined here on our previous visit to Singapore in 2015, we decided to have an early lunch here on Thursday 15th November 2018. The place was just a five-minute walk from our hotel nearby. We opted for nasi padang with chicken rendang, ikan...asam pedas, brinjal, tapioca leaves, mixed vegetables, and vegetables fried with prawns. What was apparent this time round was that the flavours, especially the chicken rendang, were less spicy and less authentic than in 2015. The chicken did not seem to have been marinated well enough in the rendang sauce and the flesh seemed white and bland. The ikan asam pedas was mild and the spicy-sour flavour was less pronounced. The meal was less satisfying taste-wise and was a struggle to get through. We began to wonder if there had been a change in the cooks and chefs. The fresh lemon drinks were a pleasant thirst quencher.More

Did not know about this place until my friend took us here for lunch. Place is decent and a lot of legit choices. They have beef and chicken rendang which had me drooling for both, but I ordered the beef rendang in the end and...I did not regret my choice. Their tempeh is also very good! Price is not that cheap (and not so expensive either) compared to your ordinary Indonesian cuisine but they are worth it. Only downside is their food is a bit oily, so make sure you balance what you order.More

We ate gulai ayam and rice, it is very yummy. The interior of the restaurant is interesting, the red color dominate the interior. During our stayed in Singapore, we never missed our dinner here.

The once mighty warung m.nasir has now dropped to the level of an average food court nasi padang stall. Just pricier Once they had a love for the food but now it seems that that love affair is gone. Not sure who does the cooking...now. The sambal goreng is average. so is the bergedil and a few others. Their much celebrated rendang has now been cut into even smaller pieces than before. And boy are they rock hard. Akin to beef jerky. a few saving graces. chicken rendang. their braised lung. and also fried chicken good. however this is then marred by their stinginess in the sambal they will give you. makes you feel bad to ask for more.More

This restaurant is located at Killiney Road. The food serve here are of malay /indonesian cuisine. Good ,tasty and superd food with alot of varieties. It may be pricey for some but from my opinion i dont mind the price because of the NICE FOOD....besides the variety dishes, i love the malay traditional kuih, lopes. The ' teh tarik' is AWESOME.More

Singaporeans know that it is really difficult to find good rendang in Singapore. But I believe I've found it! The chicken rendang and the beef rendang are dishes not to be missed! Expensive by local standards, but if you are Peranakan, Malay or Indonesian, and...have tried their food, you know it is worth every cent! Furthermore, if you love jazz, you will enjoy dining here.More

Very nice Nasi Padag food. I always go for the chicken rendang, some veggies, bean curd and fried eggs (see picture). I probably have dinner here once a week and never disappointed. Yes I live close by, but I also live close to domino pizza...which I never have visited :)More
