I arrived a few minutes early for our noon meeting and was shown to a nice table in the corner by a window. My host appeared, and ordered from the set lunch menu while I selected Salade Nicoise as my main course. While our food was nicely served, well-presented and tasty, all the dishes on our table lacked the element... More

I'd visited Bistro Du Vin on a weekday in October for lunch. The restaurant is on the ground floor of a office building looking out to a side street. We went to Bistro Du Vin as my client had read good reviews about this restaurant. I'd ordered the 3 course set - foie gras ravioli as starter, the main was... More

Food is very good. French classics cooked with care. Snails, French onion soup, duck confit, and especially the Le Creuset casserole dishes of lamb shank and beef cheek. Grand Marnier soufflé is very good. Decor will not win prizes and food a little expensive but staff were good.

We decided to try out this restaurants after recommendation from a friend. The food did not disappoint. Particularly liked the char-grilled Iberico pork shoulder ; quality meat & cooked very well. A little pricey though !

Had the Iberian pork, followed by an apple desert with vanilla ice cream (can't remember the name). Both were excellent. Service was so so; but if the food is good enough, who cares !

We came in late as a party of 4 (3 French, one American. We all had Cassoulet paired with a Cahors. The Cassoulet was very tasty (though Cassoulet with lamb sausage was a first time for me) and the Cahors very flavourful. The bread was served hot and crisp which is important is you want to sauce the bottom of... More

Dinner with my wife, late booking accommodated. Food sensational, beef cheeks and beef bourguignon. Wine very good, a Medoc from Bordeaux. Quite pricey, but OK for Singapore with all the taxes. Service very good.

Third time at this bistro, never disappointed. Hearty food cooked home style. Friendly service from nice staff. About to become one of our regular places.

Bistro du vin has a fantastic set lunch menu, which is available throughout the week - even over the weekend. The foie gras ravioli is tres delicieux (pardon my French). I love sopping up the last bits of sauce with the complimentary bread provided. The main courses are quite hearty too. I ordered the tuna steak, which was so large... More
