From a food perspective, I loved the custard bun so much and the price was reasonable for the area. Staff has a generally unhelpful attitude and spoke English very fast with very strong accents which was difficult for non-locals (us). The menu has quite a...More

Excellent food and service. The Dimsums are excellent as good as any place in South China mainland. The other dishes assorted but traditionally Chinese cuisine and presentation. Worth a visit anytime of the day

We have passed Tak Po many times and based on reviews, thought we would give it a try. It was 11.30am so not terribly busy. It must rely on tourist trade as any locals would not bother coming back once visited! Fried Carrot cake was...More

Nice, cosy place away from the crowded hawker centre. Price is reasonable even for me as a Malaysian and good enough that I came back the next day for breakfast!

Hard to choose as all dishes look different from what I'm used to, but I recommend the dumplings and vegetables. Do not recommend the rice soup, as it doesn't taste much!

Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful
sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling
sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its
blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an
Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit
almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony
continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to
the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill.
