Great World City Mall has several japanese dinings. This one is probably the calmest -and well decorated with last century japanese beer posters (Asahi...). Menu is japanese 居酒屋 izakaya style, from gyozas, grilled calamar to sashimis and kara-age, and genuine japanese ramen lovers will take...their habits here.More

Though my Son enjoyed their Katsu Curry Rice but I find that they lose their focus in serving their champion ramen and increase their menu with too many items, with a menu almost like usual Japanese family restaurant. I strongly recommend they ought to focus...more on their quality of the ramen dishes.More

Besides ramen, the menu features rice bowls and sashimi. The black garlic ramen was scrumptious. The gyoza was excellent and did not need vinegar. The chasu rice bowl was a tad too salty but the egg helped cut the saltiness. Cosy atmosphere and attentive staff.

So this place is looks like a Japanese food stalls. So its great because it feels like I have so much choice. Yet one just orders from the waiter so no need to wait. There is a lot of tables so we could sit in...a corner for a quiet business meeting. The food was good - we had the yukka salmon don which was delicious. Service was great. Highly recommended.More

You're able to pick which kind of ramen you'd like from the corresponding chef. So many choices! We were provided with an ample amount of delicious food.

If you are looking for good and timely service. LOOK ELSEWHERE. Came here on a Sunday afternoon during lunch. Place was not full which says a lot about this establishment. Order 3 sets - a kid's Omu rice meal, a rice & ramen set and...a ramen set. Ramen set came at about 20 minutes into the meal. Son was so hungry that he decided to eat some of the ramen. After 40 minutes, my wife was almost done with her ramen. The rest of our dishes haven't arrived ! I asked this girl who went to the kitchen to find out the status of the food. She went in, came out and went straight to serve another customer. It was only then I stood up and went towards her that she asked her male colleague to attend to me. I asked him where was the food. He went into the kitchen again and proceeded to come out and tell me that the food will be ready in 3 minutes! I'm not sure what kind of tonkotsu ramen they are cooking - perhaps they are still slaughtering the animals - I had enough and told them that we are going off. Never ever stepping foot into this establishment again.More

There is actually 3 outlets here in Singapore and reviews so-far are mainly for Changi Airport and Bugis Junction. I have tried out this one as it is close to workplace for a quick lunchtime getaway. It was only about 50% filled when we visited...on a Tuesday. Raman Champion has a lot of stalls where one can choose from. Average interior look design though. The concept of different stores competing against each other for your vote, to be THE "Champion" appears interesting though. There is a good selection of ramen. We order the a cold Soba and the Assari Shoyu, plus a fried Katsu as add-on. They only served cold soba and the looks is not that appealing. The Buckwheat noodle taste ok. The ramen does not taste as great as we expected, a little lacking in the broth flavour. I have tried tastier broth and better quality noodles. The fried Katsu portion is generous but did not taste excessively well. Overall; just average ramen. I do not see much value in the meal considering it looks more like a upmarket foodcourt.! Moreover while the food selection is wide I do not see the likes of a ramen speciality store, like the Ikkosya. Will not recommended.More
