Grill restaurant and music bar, enjoy your diner in 2 cozy terraces and a comfortable lounge garden. Our specialty is a Tender 500 Gr pork ribs served with a savory home made sauce (delicious!). We also propose other grilled meats and fishes, tasty western meals (french and italian food mainly) and some asian fusion creations of our "Chef". We'll be glad to welcome you in our place, and, as we use to say : "your first time will not be your last time"

Delicious Ribs and Steak. Ambient surrounds. Great music

The Pork Ribs just fell off the bone. We had rare beef tenderloin steak cooked perfectly. Noisse salad with Tuna great. Desserts were excellent Choc fondant and banana split. Reasonably priced. Good service. Relaxing Jazz music. Outdoor garden seating such ambience. Highly recommend this place.

Ribs and beer, great grill

A meeting place for expatriates, tourists, modern residents of Puerto. Good service, wonderful owner and, of course, the trump card of the place is the grill. If you like a fun company, beer and meat or fish with a taste of open fire, you are here.

Lekker food in lovely environment

Very nice atmosphere with delicious food options. As starter we had the French onion soup which was freshly made and the portion was big enough to share for 3 to 4 people. The ribs and the chicken cordon bleu were tasty and tender. If we get a chance we will definitely visit again.

Paid US$10 for a piece of 'minute steak' that I can buy at home for US$1.50. Minute steak is a portion of poor quality meat tenderized with a machine to break the toughness. The salad had a good portion of lettuce, pink coloured and tasteless sliced tomato and sliced tasteless black olives. The fries had been cooked earlier and were soggy and cold when served to the table. The ambience was OK and the table service 'acceptable'.

Great friendly service, but disapointing food

This was my 1st return visit in many years. The people could not have been nicer or more accommodating. I was just disappointed with the quality of the meals. With my 1st bite of the ribs I noticed a slight freezer burn taste. The BBQ sauce was the most bland I have ever eaten. It pains me to have to write these words because the staff were really Great!

Very nice!

We ordered pork ribs, salpicao, gambas and crispy pata. Also, banana with ice cream(forgot how they call it hehe). Everything was delicious including the drinks and shakes. Choosing Captain Ribs for our first dinner is Puerto Princesa is a very good decision. Owner and staff are friendly, too!

Perfect ribs with fries

We ate ribs which were cooked to a really perfect condition as they should be. When held, the meat easily separated from the bone. The sauce used was also quite appropriate.

Nice atmosphere in this open airy restaurant that serves great food, and very reasonably priced. Staff was very friendly and they played very enjoyable and relaxing music, as well.

What more can I say!?! Barbequed Ribs to die for, great service, personal welcome from the owner. We celebrated a birthday and the staff came out with tambourines and sang for him.

Captain Ribs--who would guess this would be so good. Food (ribs), service, décor--all were good and we were glad we went in. Rocco the cat, was very nice, and an added piece of décor we didn't expect. Glad we found this place.
