Had lovely cappuccinos there everyday for about days and had 3 delicious dinners.
7 years ago we stayed at Luca's twice and really enjoyed it.
This time we wanted to stay but it was booked out so we stayed at Bamboo House nearby.
The cappuccinos were only 100 pesos when usually they are about 150 p.
The pizzas were enormous. But the pastas were the best. One plate of pasta can fill 2 people. Reasonable prices.
We had Anna, Luca, the boss's wife take the order, cook it and bring it to us exactly the way we wanted.
The view is amazing. A front row seat of the sea, the fishing boats and children playing in the sand.
Very friendly atmosphere.
Our experience in Puerto Galera was the best we have had for a while and we have been travelling for many years.

Ate here twice, as we stayed at nearby Bamboo House (highly recommended). Had excellent pasta dishes our first visit, very large portions. 2nd visit had seafood pizza; good thin crust, but not much toppings and most seafood was still in the shell making it difficult to eat. Recommend the pasta dishes though !

I would highly recommend this open-air, on a beautiful beach, Italian restaurant. A bit difficult to find and get to but worth the trip. The food, the view can only compare to a few. I had a Seafood Marinara with penne pasta, delicious and affordable. I did not get the chance to try the pizzas but they looked huge and made correctly. I would recommend...

Luca's is our favorite place to eat by far when we go to Puerto. I look forward to their fresh delicious authentic Italian food and the perfect picturesque view of the sunset to close out every day we are there. You will not be disappointed!

One of the reasons we came back in Puerto Galera is Luca's pizza and marinara pasta. Our first time is fabulous but when we came back, the experience was so-so. I don't know if that is their mentality but the area is mosquito-infested. They didn't even bother offering electricfans out there. They offered it to the foreigner who came. Tss... we have money too you know. 😂

Cucina Luca is a simple patio restaurant by the beach. They give large servings of pizza and pasta, and are reasonably prized. The kids super liked the four cheese pizza! The carbonara tasted good but lacked parmesan cheese. You have to pay an extra P50 when you ask, and you have to otherwise it's just white sauce. The Puttanesca did not have black olives as expected, but large chillies. Service is fast and friendly. It's hot inside during the summer, especially when there is no breeze. The one fan they had was directed to the foreigners who seemed to be friends with the owner. The ambiance is casual and a bit frenetic because the tables are close to each other. The tables and chairs have no uniformity. The food after all, is why we keep coming back.

Just around the corner from Amami Beach Resort so we popped in for a meal one night. We ordered one pizza and one pasta, a seemingly innocent choice. The pizza was the size of dustbin lid and the pasta was practically served in a bucket, one would have been fine for two of us and we both have pretty big appetites. Would absolutely come back and try to kill myself with pizza once again, huge portions but delicious all the same.

Authentic Italian pizza and pasta dishes along the beach of Puerto Galera. I love their signature pizza, the white sauce pasta and mozzarela cheese sticks! Accommodations are clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy, just provincial life easy an relaxed. Spend your days on the beach, island hopping, snorkling or hiking and exploring caves along the mountain trails. Will be coming back soon!

I was looking forward to trying this restaurant because of a review I read about it. But alas, I was just disappointed when I had dinner here.
The taste and quality were too far from other Italian restos I have tried.
We ordered seafood pasta and there was nothing special about the taste really...and the service was nothing impressive either.
Nice location though, but that's basically it.

We ate there several times. The pizza and pasta was always tasty. The restaurant is spacious and has a good air conditioner. The interior is stylish and the high prices are appropriate.
Home made bread, Italian style is available for take out.
The only negative point is the service. This can be relatively slow sometimes.

We had read good reviews about this place, and especially their pizzas, so we tried that and 2 other dishes. Not worth it. Very overpriced, very tasteless food unfortunately, all the spices were missing. The staff was also a little bit rude, we get hardly couple of smiles during our visits even though I bought there coffee and drinks every day. Coffee was ok, mango shake was extremely too sugarfull, taste it rather in the White Beach really. It looked like most of the staff was hating their work, I suggest to use other places anywhere else not worth visiting.

The service at Luca's was terrible. The food was OK although 1 of the 5 meals was almost inedible. Cannot recommend this place. Is hard to get to and quite inhospitable.

Luca is the best place to eat in Puerto Galera. It's in front of the small shore of Talipanan. Quiet and relaxing.
The food serving is big and delicious! One pasta order is good for 3 hungry people and a pizza is good for 5.
