It was my first time visiting Cak Sule. Without my friend telling me about this restaurant, I wouldn't be trying one of the best kwetiau in Town!

Walked by this place and thought I'd give it a try. Helpful staff. Large menu of Indonesian and Chinese food. Had barbeque fish. Excellent. Indoor and outdoor seating. Doesn't cater to tourists, but is welcoming.

The pogoda is the center of a round about surrounded by bus stops. Once inside, it all disappears. It is much smaller than Swedagon pagoda but a good first stop. There is a pedestrian bridge on Sule road that gives a great view of the pagoda at night.

The portion is small..the price is cheap but taste great. Paklay and udang saus padang taste really great but the fuyunghai is a let down. The service was too slow ( really really slow).. the staff not helpful and they're not focus on their job. As if they're disturbed by customer because they're too busy to take an order from... More

We went to this place because it was nearby our hotel and didn't want to go to a touristic restaurant (there are a lot down this street). The service was slow and the staff not very friendly, but the terrace was nice and the food good. We ordered 3 dishes, two drinks and payed 66.000 Rps.

We went here interested in ordering some Chinese and Indonesian food. Despite the general lack of English, our server (who was very nice!) was able to communicate with us. After some of his input, we ordered some rice, a beef hotplate dish, a chicken & mushroom dish and some spicy chicken with curry. We received a fried chicken hotplate (inedible... More
