Went there for Sunday lunch, the restaurant is busy but not packed. The number of staff is many but the service is sooooooo slowww. The waiting time from the order input by the staff until the first dish came is 45 minutes and it was just a salad. The staff is unefficient, ignorant and food was average. It was just... More

The one in Pacific Place they call it Gyu Kaku Prime, the one in Plaza Indonesia is just Gyu Kaku? Good quality, fast service but the restaurant in Pacific Place has been downsized in the number of seats.

This restaurant is quite pricey, however the quality of the meat is superb! It is so tender and juicy. The fried rice is just okay... Definitely a place to try for family gathering.

I love beef steaks. My current favourites are Lawrys, Wolfgang Puck the cut, Eric Kaiser. And I can tell you, these thick sliced beef are up there. They will just tenderly melt in your mouth leaving you with heavenly juices that will render you yummm... The Karubi beef and wagyu are recommended. The rest... they are good but nothing special.... We ordered Fuku set for 2 person at Rp1.488M. The set is very comprehensive. It comes with bibimbap, crispy chicken, kimchi, wagyu ribeye, wagyu karubi, wagyu rump, short ribs, duck breast, cod fish, salad and dessert. We enjoyed the harenso salad, very nicely done. The cod fish is foiled and grilled to perfection. The beef is tender but the duck... More

Last time, I went to Gyu Kaku with my family, they just change their menu package. We're expecting our favorite such as kimchi, horenso salad, tongue, salmon, other grilled beef and their special pudding. The Sakura and other package menu aren't available anymore. Some of the menu having different ingredients now. We understand that after Lebaran holiday, they're lacking suppliers.... More

Very bad service... Food came out very slowly... Staff needed to be reminded many times before food actually came out. This is my first time dining at the indonesian branch of gyu-kaku and would be the last time as well.... Very disappointed.

First time dined here, thought would look some recommendation from Tripadvisor about good Japanese restaurant. Made reservation 2 days prior on the date for Friday evening, and just on the day they made reminder call just to make sure that I would come on time and if I'll be late in 5 minutes, they will take out the reservation since... I love this restaurant! The ambience is perfect. The staff are very quick and attentive. Different cuts of wagyu steaks were cooked to perfection. I also like the spinach salad. Will definitely go back.
