Our family of two adults, a 9 year old and a 6 year old ate here during the busy Chinese New Year holidays. This is my favourite noodle eatery in HK and one of the priciest bowls of wonton noodles you'll eat but it's worth...it in my opinion. On arrival, staff get you a table whether that's your own table or sharing with others which is the norm in HK. Menus can be found up on the wall, some items with pictures, but you won't go wrong with just a bowl of wonton noodles. The wontons are amazing, noodles al dente and broth needs guzzled up at the end - forget your Western manners and just pick up the bowl and slurp it all down. There's not a vast choice of drinks so be prepared to have a can of Coke, cup of Chinese tea or bottle of water. You will find Mak's in Kowloon and also at Victoria Peak but come here to the original and best in my opinion. Enjoy!More

A very simple, but delicious meal. I had the prawn dumplings and my friend had the beef and noodles. Both meals were delicious! Very quick service. Would recommend

We happened to drop by here in the Causeway Bay branch as we needed to have a late dinner (we were craving for noodles) and many of the restaurants nearby were already closed. We ordered their noodles and needless to say, we were surprised by...how good our orders tasted! If you could imagine how noodles in HK would taste, this would be the perfect example. While we wished the servings were bigger, you can't go wrong with the price. We wanted to eat here again for breakfast but unfortunately, they were still closed. Would definitely recommend eating here!More

We ordered set menu B which consisted of a few different types of wontons, stirred noodles with spicy pork sauce, stirred noodles with a dried shrimp roe and oyster sauce, with a side of gai lan. All of the food was excellent, and the service...was great!More

Tried their signature wonton noodles and beef bricknet noodles, taste in traditional style, portion was small and price is comparatively higher than similar local restaurant.

Love their wanton noodle soup. Their dumplings taste just as good. Prices are OK and reasonable. Friendly and helpful staffs.

Famous & old Cantonese noodle shop in town which used to be amongst the top. Now competition much keener & their noodle quality not as good as before & not short of MSG. Noodle texture still good. Grossly overpriced.

On a Thursday afternoon, I came across this place called Maks Noodle. The food was decent, however, the Cleanliness was terrible. I picked up a chopstick and saw what looked like goo on the head of the wooden stick, even the straw was covered in...black spots of (What looked like) rodent droppings. Not coming here ever again.More

This is not a place I would check out especially on weekdays when all the people working in the area go there. I only happened to dine there on a Sunday afternoon because it was raining and I was too lazy to walk else where....As it was Sunday, there were less people hence the staff were laid back so I was lucky and didn't have to put up with the usual unfriendly service which you can imagine when they are busy during lunch hours!! Well, it was just noodles or noodles with different toppings. I actually wanted the beef but she somehow heard wonton. When it came, all the wontons were at the bottom. The noodles had the usual taste and hard slippery texture, not my favourite. The wontons looked good even though they were small because you can see a whole shrimp in it. The only thing that let it down was the saltiness, the wontons were just too salty.More

noodle and dumplings are good, but not as great as I expected from reading other reviews. Definitely need to order large size, which is small to me. Cant imagine how small is the small bowl size. Not as crowded as I anticipated wither.

I stopped in with a friend for the wonton noodles last night. Service seemed friendly enough. And two cups of tea are given which is good. My wonton noodles were good and tasty just alittle small but I wasn't that hungry luckily.

Hi, it starts at 40 HKD for basic version and can go up to 150 HKD with meat, shrimp wontons ... But in any case very affordable and good value for money.
