One of famous noodle restaurant in HK. Portion is good, not too big. Fast service and not expensive. Soup isn't too salty, that what I like. Yummy and easy meal. Much more comfortable after renovated. May have to share table when crowded.

Everything about this restaurant seemed cold and pretentious, lacking of any personality and human touch from the service to its wanton noodles. Firstly, you must order above HKD60 if you have 2 person dining. The noodle is super fine, with a strong alkaline taste and portion was way too small. Kailan was overcooked and soggy with too much oyster sauce.... More

Mak's was our first meal in Hong Kong. We stumbled onto the restaurant in Central. The noodles were very nice but was a very small portion and very pricey. We could get similar noodles elsewhere for half the price and a larger portion.

tMak's Noodles on Wellingon is what you search for as eateries in HK. It makes delicious noodles in or without soup, the service is friendly - family style - and you have the feeling to be spoiled by the food and respected by the service.

Tasty noodles and broth. The noodles were right texture and the beef was soft. Easy to order. The shop was easy to find, just follow google maps.

Mak's noodles is a good place to start your Hong Kong food experience. The wonton noodle soup is their signature dish and it didn't disappoint. I recommend the prawn if you love seafood. The wontons were silky parcels of delicious sweet prawn filling. The soup broth was light and tasty enough to not need any condiments. A great Hong Kong... More

Great quality, really fresh food. The food is extremely simple, but very flavourful, plus the great value means you can try a good amount of the menu.

Went here due to all the great Trip Advisor reviews. To be honest we found it pretty average, food was quite bland compared to other restaurants we have been to while in HK who serve a similar cuisine. The choice at Mak's is fairly limited, the service is quick though. Like most places in HK you need to get in,... More

Food quality is perfect. Noodles with shrimp are very good and prices are on the lower end. So if someone is looking for a decent noodle meal I am sure it can be found at Maks Noodle.

Took my daughter there in February, it is a ritual whenever she comes to town. Noodles still the same, seating clean and comfy, keep up with the good work please.

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
