Having been there before just for a quick bite before I wanted to try lunch there. The market price for scallops were 50hkd, but they didn't disclose the fact that there was a cooking fee added. So three chewy prawns, two scallops (they were delicious) a plate of fried green beans and some Chinese tea came to 627hkd which I... More

Ok ok, was it always this expensive or not until the Michelin star came? I should have looked up the menu prices before going in because if i had known, i would not have entered those doors! I opened up the menu and all the seafood is Seasonal price, and once i started asking for prices, my heart dropped. I... More

Under the review impression that prices are reasonable we ( just 2) ordered a rock lobster 1/2 portion bean curd the potato soup n 2 pieces of the small abalone - that sets us back by over HK2000. Prices are not that economical but food quality is not bad..They do a mean bowl of porridge with the lobster head... Service... More

When you visit Hong Kong, seafood is something that you cannot missed! As a hongkonger, I gave my first try in Sai Kung for the seafood! Everything is above standard. The deep fried abolone is impressive! If you bored with the traditional steam abolone with soya sauce, this is something u can try! The fried lobster was another cannot-missed item!... More

There are many restaurants as good or better within 1 km. Why it is picked for a star is not clear to me. The prawn and egg was too oily. The soya noodle is bland amednd without character. Service is so so. Steamed fish over cooked. I am puzzled.

My daughter and I checked out Loaf On in Sai Kung due to numerous positive reviews. We were not disappointed. Since there were only two of us, we only had two small dishes and fried rice. Both were very good-- fresh shrimp cooked in lots of garlic, and a huge scallop on a shell also with lots of garlic and thin... More

Sai Kung is the place for seafood and Loaf On takes you away from the seafood strip running by the waterfront to an unexpected elegant ambiance. It is a Michelin star restaurant so expect to pay more than restaurants along the promenade. We had a steamed fish which along with an appetizer and vegetable dish is adequate for 2 individuals.... Very high standard Chinese cuisine, with some unusual dishes. Lots of garlic used so beware. Tofu very good. Garlic prawns also. Spread over several floors with steep stairs.
