The food here was absolutely amazing! Such a great range, which tasted so so good! And it was all veggie, which was a plus because I could choose anything off the menu. Excellent service, friendly staff. Thank you! If I ever come back to HK, I'll definitely be back. :)

Who knew there were so many different types of dumplings?!? And each one more delicious than the next. I can't wait to go to this restaurant again.

Located in Hong Kong Park in busy Admiralty, this is a very enjoyable experience -- if you come at the right time. At lunchtime during the week, it is crowded with office workers and on weekends it is packed (like every place is in Hong Kong). But if you come during the week in the afternoon when it is not... Nice location and surroundings...thats' it Service was poor : bad English, could not really explain what the various dishes were, bringing everything at the same time... Teas overpriced...mineral water even more Food was mostly tasteless Very poor experience in a city where it is so easy to find good dim sum

They shoved us in the corner... refer to photo for a sense of the atmosphere. The tea was good. The food was okay, if overpriced.

A bit pricey eating dim sum and drinking tea at Lock Cha Tea Shop. Not worth the money where you can have cheaper and better dim sum and tea in Hong Kong.

Really authentic tea shop. Lovely little tea pots with lots of tea to try. You can order dim sum as well which was great quality though small portions, ideal for a snack. If your looking to have a Chinese tea experience than this lovely little place in Hong Kong park is well worth a visit. There's also a small museum... More

The restaurant has an intimate seating arrangement, perfect for a dinner with friends and family. It has backdrop of the HK Park that adds to its quietude. The variety of vegetarian appetisers available is wonderful. Desserts are great, although the best part is the people who run the place! They are involved, interested and hospitable. Thanks for the lovely experience!

My friend wanted to have some dim sum and we decided to go for Lock Cha Tea Shop. It was late, around 7, so no one serious would eat dim sum at that time in Hong Kong. Surprisingly, they still had some choice and it was absolutely fantastic. Prepare to drink tea as it's obligatory in this place. The choice... More

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
