If you read my reviews you will see that in general I am more often than not generous with my ratings. Therefore to give a place a two star is significant for me. We ordered the sausage platter for 2 to 3 people. Two of us were barely satisfied by what came out. The food was warm and unexciting. Overpriced... More

I visited there with my best friend on 8 October 2016. Our main purpose was to taste their signature dish-pork knuckle. We ordered two cups of beer, pork knuckle and Cesar salad. May be it was lunch time at that moment, the whole restaurant was so noisy. The pork knuckle was not as crispy as I expected but it was... More

Went there for lunch. Had few beers, pretzels, pork knuckles and sausages. Food and service are fine. The place is nicely decorated.

We went there for lunch, with choice of a la carte and set lunch. As we have tried the signature dishes such as pig’s knuckles and German sausages a couple of times, we would like to experience more and ordered the set lunches. The starter was buffet style and there were so many choices (soup, salad, pizza, cold cuts, fried... More

Surprisingly quiet on a Friday night. Ordered steak and sausages. Food was OK but portions were small. The pics in the menu look larger than in reality. Atmosphere was OK with a very average band. Service was OK. But the tables were sticky and we had an issue with flying insects. Overall the food was good, not spectacular.

Went for lunch today and had a German wheat beer. Beautiful. We actually kept forgetting we were a actually in China, it felt like Europe. Meal was top notch and we just loved everything. Great place. Highly recommend

One of my favourite HK restaurants. Sausages galore, various other carnivorous and herbivorous options, massive schooners of German Draught Beer. The in-house band can be a little raucous, so keep clear of the bards if you want to talk.

We were a group of 6 people and decided to try this German cuisine at Stanley. We waited for 15min and were seated inside. There was a band playing with a girl singing in a soft low voice and not a good singer. The atmosphere and decor were ok. We ordered 2 signature Pork Knuckles, German Spare Ribs, and Nuremberg... You don't need an entrée, as the portions are generous and better than any German food I've tasted in Germany. Service also excellent. A little pricey.

My family had dinner at the restaurant recently after having a leisurely walk at Stanley. Although the prices of food in this restaurant are comparatively more expensive than those along the main road, we would like to have the pork knuckles and prefer to stay indoor under the windy weather that day. From the moment we entered the restaurant, we... More
