We went to this place on our last day in Hongkong after reading reviews on Tripadvisor. Food is average (Po Lo Pao) - not really the best or great pao that everyone was talking about. Service is very bad but this is normal in Hong Kong. If Hongkongers put up with it, service will continue to be bad unless people... More

As a big fan of bo luo bao (pineapple buns), this was one of the food items that I really wanted to try when I was in HK. Prior to Kam Wah Cafe, I had eaten about 4 other bo luo baos in a span of 2 days. BUT NOTHING COMPARED TO THE ONE HERE. It was really life-changing. I... More

We Ubered here from Prince Hotel, Tsim Sha Tsui for their famous polo pau - pineapple favoured bun, egg tarts and si mud nai char - milk tea. Just like any usual Hong Kong coffee shop the shop is very small and it's crowded with the usual Thursday morning working crowd, however the service is very fast and efficient. Patron... More

We went to try the best pineapple buns in HK and were not disappointed. So good!! It's busy, you share tables, it's loud...but it's all part of the experience. 2 teas, 2 buns and 2 tarts for $68 - no reason the grumble if you ask me

I like to try places that are crowded with locals. This is that sort of place. Very noisy and food being served constantly. They had an English menu. I asked for fried udon with BBQ pork. See what comes. Lots of buns being served. When the staff talk the almost yell and your not sure how to take them. Food... More

Went there to try the pineapple bun as recommended by friends. Although it is a local restaurant serving cheap eats, the waitress shouldn't be impolite. The restaurant was very crowded at the moment we entered into it. The waitress hurried us to a vacant table. We needed to squeeze ourselves through the crowd of waitresses, customers and narrow spacing among... More

Husband, an egg tart enthusiast, claimed they had some of the best ever. Their pineapple buns were on point. We waited in line for take away. Moved quick. Everything hot and fresh!

The rude service that my family experienced in this restaurant is really unforgettable! if you have a plan eating here, avoid the waitress with a short hair as she might ruin your morning/day. The food is okay, nothing special.

I had their signature polo bun, egg tart and milk tea. Staff who took my order was ok but when I wanted to buy polo bun was plain rude. I said I wanted plain polo bun as indicated on the menu, but she asked again and raised her voice. In Hong Kong, there are many great eateries and this is... More
