Jimmy's restaurant Kowloon closed in early March. It served excellent food - wide selection. I understand that they have another restaurant near to Central Station on Hong Kong Island.

My first trip to HK was when I was 19 years old and we visited Jimmys and it was great. Now, last year, it was not so great. So, my recommendation is that if you want to go old school in Hong Kong, visit, but don't have to high expectations

It feels like you are stepping back in time when visiting Jimmys Kitchen. The decor is reminiscent of the British Colonial days and the menu matches as well. Great eclectic collection of western and Asian dishes. Service is very good and attentive.

We had been treated to a meal at Jimmy's Kitchen by a friend some years ago when it was a large upstairs room, and had really enjoyed the food and old-fashioned ambience so we decided to seek it out. Now it has moved to a ground floor location and is slightly smaller, but still has the same look and atmosphere.... More

This is a restaurant that serves food which one would have eaten in the seventies but bought up to date, well cooked with a twist of Hong Kong. Love the older waiters. Good place for a quiter meal, with good service. Sunday lunch is good here too.

When u feel a new restaurant or new type of trendy food is not something you want to risk a night out on. Jimmy's is one of these places who been there forever, haven't changed and always deliver. Been there forever, clearly seen on the menu's handed out. Look like some worn out, dirty shabby thing you can get on... More

This is a nice restaurant serving traditional favourite dishes. The seating was comfortable and the service was very efficient. We ordered Salmon and Steak which were both very good. The complimentary bread tasty and served warm. We would dine here again.

On the one hand the card is very international and offers famous dishes from all over the world, the staff was very polite and ambiente is old-fashioned but cozy. On the other hand we had a very simple side order of a poached egg which could not be fulfilled due to apparent lazyness of the kitchen staff, despite the fact... More

I always visit Jimmy's on the Kowloon side and it never fails to disappoint. Great atmosphere and nice surrounding, fantastic menu and the food is wonderful. Old fashioned service which works so well, nothing too much trouble. It is pricey but worth it, a nice treat while in HK.

Thank steve m
