Unlike previous review Nicoise salad being fishy, Well being tuna that's what I expect and it was fantastic. Tuna pink and superb salad vegetables crisp and fresh. I also ordered the scallops which were again excellent our last dish was the large mussel and prawn bucket they had no clams left so bucket was made up of extra prawns. Once... More

Very disappointing for the amount of money we paid. Niçoise salad tuna was very fishy tasting and the boathouse salad had no flavour. I feel they have the location but need to step it up on the food. Overpriced and no flavour

I had a few hours spare, and never really get away from the madness of the city. I got a bus and found this tranquil village on the beach and was immediately relaxed. I stumbled upon the boathouse and had a wonderful meal of fish and chips overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Everything about this location is stunning after the hustle... More

We ate lunch here when visiting Stanley Market. The staff were friendly without being overly so. Food was tasty and adequate for lunch time. We were able to sit in the window and watch the world go by whilst enjoying our pre-lunch beer.

Burgers were okay but I had the mussels and they were lukewarm and still had some beards attached. Overpriced but then everything close by is.

I had lunch at the Boathouse with my husband and our two cousins who had dined there before and we all had a fantastic time. We were seated in a quiet, private corner booth right near the front entrance which was perfect for conversation in the busy atmosphere. The entire place was packed the day we went which was a... Like touring Hong Kong is not complete without paying homage to its southern tip of the legendary Pirate's paradise some 200 years ago, your first encounter of Stanley coastal/mountain outpost would not be perfect without patronising the famed beachfront Mediterranean cafe, The Boathouse ! Italian pizza and pasta with crispy salad and french fries and a glass of fresh lime... More

The boathouse is the best restaurant option on the sea front, out of a lot of western style restaurants. The area is pricey and is a hot touristic spot. The service was great and the food fresh. We ordered a fish & Chips and a Tuna Nicoise Salad which was beautiful. Table tip: ask for a table on the balcony... More

After walking in the rain in Repulse Bay and then Stanley, we figured it was about time to find a place where we can sit and enjoy the view for an afternoon tea. Passed by several restaurants that waved us in but decided to go inside Boathouse. This yellow building at the corner of the promenade is an icon of... More

First impressions are that this is a bistro but the menu is more complex and choices are good. The service is friendly and quick and the food tasty and hot. A great meal in comfy surroundings
