Just for the experience if one enjoys queuing for 40' - they are efficient no doubt in clearing and filling customers. Disappointed that they no longer offered their steam eggs with ginger which was what I went for but only offered milk and almond steamed eggs. The usual bread and scrambled eggs set with macaroni are average and dont need... More

I went there with 3 of my friends. They lead us to a table at the side, I myself stand at 6 foot 4 and it's nearly impossible for me to fit in. I inform this matter to the waiter and he lead me to a table for 6 persons. How nice it is, and that time is peak house,... More

Long queue, but fast moving. I'm not a fan of the staple ham & macaroni soup, which I think would've tasted better if they added cream or milk to the recipe. But i liked their famous scrambled eggs, and the toast has enough butter and crunch to it. These two are a perfect pair combination. Milk tea tasted good also.

I went there in the evening and luckily there wasn't a queue. Service was very fast. Food came in a jiffy. The food itself was nothing to shout about for me but experiencing the pace of the restaurant was interesting.

Went for breakfast early in the morning and there were long queues already. Simple breakfast served such as toasted bread with scrambled eggs and ham, macaroni/spaghetti soup, scrambled eggs and etc, yet the taste was really good. The milk pudding was really yummy! Would return the next trip!

Fast Service, but I felt rushed. I ordered an egg sandwich and macaroni with ham in chicken soup. The egg sandwich is simply egg between two slices of bread. However, the egg was so fluffy and good. The macaroni with ham in chicken soup is literally what it sounds like. It was something I could make at home, but I'm... More

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamourous or busy as its neighbours Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighbourhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighbourhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
