Had a great meal at Moi's. We are vegetarian and they were very accommodating in terms of making dishes without meat.

Had a Thai green papaya salad. Was ok but really unimpressive. The price is fine as there is fierce competition but I would not go back.

Whenever travelling to HK i've no doubts on where to go to find a place to dine or a nite drink: Lan Kwai Fong. This district is full of good places providing a wide selection of different cuisines from around the world This time I chose Moi as it provides both Vietnamese and Thai cuisines. And I got it right!... More

Nicely situated restaurant just off the main street. Good food if a little too fatty and not the best service as my husband had half eaten his food by the team mine had arrived.

A quaint restaurant in the Lan Kwai Fong area offering some great food. It offers indoors and outdoors seating. It offers a variety of Asian cuisine - Indian, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, Malaysian and Singaporean. Even though I am usually averse to trying multi cuisine restaurants, I was very happy with the food that I had here. Had a lovely chicken... More

At a dead end at Lan Kwai Fong. A lively nightlife place with rows of restaurants and bars. This dead end is filled with outdoor seats for dine in. A nice ambience, especially at night. Moi is serving Vietnamese, thai and Malaysian food, which makes a thick menu book. Pad thai seems to be more like Chinese food than Thai... More

The coconut curry was so good. Good in combination with the garlic naan. Nice place, seated outside. The staff is very friendly. They only accept no small money, strange.

Good food (prepared in this or one of the other establishments in this alley). Good wine ! Good, efficient and friendly service. I keep coming back to this place... every time I visit Hong Kong. It is outdoors (if you want), in a busy area, but still quiet for Hong Kong standards.

First ate here about 10 years ago when visiting, and it took a bit of effort but found it again. Very very tasty Vietnamese, Malaysian and Thai cuisine (with flavours of Indian). They basically take you order and cook from several outlets in the strip depending on what you choose. Very friendly service. Inside and outside seating options. Hookah pipe... More

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
