I was quickly greeted at the door, the receptionist was a little shocked that I intended to dine alone. It's not the first time for me to experience that. Asked by the waitress on the preference of water, sparking, still or warm water. She double confirmed with me that's it's a large bottle. I said it is fine and I... More

Hugo’s is named after a fictional character ‘Hugo Ludwig Wilhelm von Gluckenstein’ – a Bavarian host who ‘served only the best of food and of wine’ to his guests. As an authentic European restaurant, Hugo’s features traditional western cuisine prepared only with the finest ingredients available. Armed with an impressive array of traditional serving apparatus, including walnut wood Christofle hors... More

Today we just have a dinner at Hugo's, a memorable brand for HK people. Our lobster soup & onion soup are tasteful to warm up my Champagne, and main courses shared whole sole meunière & steak are all wonderful, this is a nice place to revisit when walk around TST next time.

They offer standard of semi-buffet Sunday brunch in Hong Kong. Hugo’s gives a warm classical European environment: spacious, luxurious and elegant. The high standard serving by waiter in classical dress It includes free-flow champagne and white and red wines, and starts with all sorts’ mouthwatering appetizer and SEAFOOD SELECTION OF LOBSTER TAILS, OYSTERS, MUSSELS, CLAMS AND PRAWNS. I also feature... More

Food was good, service was polite and restaurant looks great. So nothing to complain about Hugo. BUT getting a taxi is a nightmare, it is in the basement, had to wait for almost half an hour and no queuing system so people jumped the queue! Staff was not very polite and just said need to wait because of raining. Anybody... More

I have been dining at Hugo's for years, from the original on the old Hyatt to the new in the new Hyatt. The service is wonderful, suggestions from the head waiter never disappoint. The meats are so flavorful and succulent. They have a great extensive wine list. I try as much as I can to have my last dinner at... More

A bit heavy fake-old European interior but it's part of the charm. Decent European food, rather traditional and classic in execution but with an excellent staff to serve you. I think the food resembles most typical brasserie cuisine but the setting is a bit more formal compared to a typical lively brasserie environment. I quite enjoy it, lunch is a... More

We were staying at the Hyatt where this restaurant is located and every time we walked by it was buzzing with activity. We finally tried it and were really pleased. The atmosphere is great and the food was excellent as was the service. Definitely worth a visit.

I find this a hard review to write and wish there was a rating between very good and average. Because it deserves a good rating. The venue is plush and attractive. The food was well presented and tasty. The service was very good. (I could have done without the guitar player though). It wasnt particularly Italian which is what I... More
