Went there for the Happy mondays a while ago actually ( buy 1 get 1 main ). Fairly good deal but disappointed in the mustard choice for a steak house. I ordered a bottle Red Chilian and it was hot. I couldn't bother complain. Beef was good but disappointed on the dessert which was kinda of a catalan cream but... More

Not a good start as we were seated next to a large party, in a restaurant that was only a quarter full, and had to move to a quieter table. The reasons I call the chef/manager incompetent are:- 1)Failed to order enough Tenderloins for a 8pm Saturday night service. 2)Failed to order enough Dry Aged Ribeyes for a 8pm Saturday... More

We had a drink outside on their terrace first, which is nice and quiet considering it's in the middle of Central. When then moved inside for steaks. The steak was of good quality, but cooked a tad too long for medium-rare (I'd have called it medium). The side dishes were ok - the potato gratin was not quite done enough... More

This place was nice and deco was cozy and romantic. Convenient from Central but not too busy and crowded. The dry-aged steak was the star of the night! Tasty!

Went for a business meeting. Good atmosphere and very accommodating. Very friendly staff. Had a couple snacks which were ok. I would classify as between mid-range and fine dining. Not cheap at all but probably in line with most down town restaurants. 2 bottle of IPA and a draft Asahi were about 230hkd. Also went outside to the rooftop and... More

Having a casual dinner with a old friend. Although we didn't have a window seat we still enjoyed the atmosphere of the place and the good service. The starter was great, simple and delicious. Steak on the other hand was also done very simple, with condiments like truffle butter, mustard, sea salt to accompany. Really enjoyed the food here and... More

Had a great steak board of three different cuts - interesting and tasty. Wines were ok and not too overpriced - a HK experience. Sides of Mac and Cheese and Creamed Spinach were good and the Pana Cotta dessert a winner. Had a bottle of Chakana Malbec which was great value at $560.

The 3rd floor bar outside is a great spot but the noise from the air conditioners in an adjoining building ruins the whole experience. There are much more pleasant outdoor bars nearby

The 40 ounce steak was excellent and the staff showed flexibility when combining menu items with a la carte. But their attentiveness was lacking even (or because) the restaurant was only filled with 25%. I feel awkward to waive at waiting staff 3 or 4 times to get another bottle of water. The sauce bearnaise was old, the bbq garlic... More

The set menu for two was a great option. Appetizers had a choice of two; we choose the seafood platter. Our main was a selection of meats, with a recommendation to start with the tenderloin and work our way through to dry aged, to start with the lighter flavors; ending with the stronger taste. The meat was excellent quality, and... More

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
