Talk about efficient. While we waited in line, we were handed a menu and a pencil to place our order so that by the time we were seated, our food arrived seconds afterward. The pork buns were the best I've ever had and believe me, I've had my share of pork buns in my lifetime. The glutinous rice wrapped in... More

It's actually based in the basement of IFC Mall, next to the Metro escalator. There is a huge queue in front- always a sign for good quality. It's quick, it's clean and it's delicious... Not where you want to go on a date - but convenient and good dim sum. Friendly staff but they take only cash. Be prepared. See... More

Had many dishes and only one which was moderately above average was the pork bun. Every thing else was bland and no well prepared. I had much better dim sum in other less known establishments.

Very good 'Dim Sum' restaurant. Foods were fresh and delicious. Services was not very well but it was ok for us. We waited quite long time for foods and the table. But overall we were enjoy it. I will recommend my friends to try it.

Even after asking directions from an information desk it took a while to find this restaurant. There are so many levels and sections to the station it's quite awesome but tricky to find particular shops/restaurants. We queued for about 10 minutes tops after locating the restaurant but had been given a menu slip to choose our food. You then get... More

Pork buns were nice but everything else didn't live up to the hype. Not sure how the Michelin star system works in Hong Kong but there are far better restaurants around that aren't recognised.

Been here a few times and there's usually a long queue outside the restaurant, but you could start checking the food options on the menu and hand out the order form once you are beung seated. The whole process was quite quick and I understand how some people might not like it, but it's very efficient. Quite a lot of... More

I went here this afternoon and the food was ordinary at best, lacking any flavour and quite stodgy..

I arrived around 3pm on Friday and there was no wait. This was easily the best $7 lunch to be had in Hong Kong. The pork buns are as good as everyone says - dumplings were tasty too - and I was already full. The communal seating and service gets you in and out quickly.

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
