After 3 1/2 weeks in Southeast Asia, and "transiting" in Hong Kong, found this place around the corner of our hotel. The prices at European level, probably "standard" in Hong Kong (?) but affordable. Quality was very good, and tasty. The staff was very patient with our quite undecided gang of children. The menu has something for everyone, and the... More

cold, dry turkey to start with plain, half-cooked creamy carrot soup unseasoned overcooked salmon dry, salty fried pork plus the unprofessional manager who keeps his eyes on his mobile phone 90 % of the time) and the over-zealous waiteresses who keeps walking around every tables in the restuarant like every five minutes. I am a local Chinese and pretty sure... More

My partner & I were wandering around Sai Kung, searching for somewhere to eat that night. We found Okapi, & wish we hadn't. The night started badly when the first glass of red wine was so sour it was undrinkable. The rest of the evening followed suit, as a salad we had been assured was vegan, turned out to contain... So we went just for the hell of it. We read the reviews and thought, it can not be all that bad. Also we thought things might have changed over the last 2 Years. Wrong! Not even going to go into the details. Just stay away is our advise.

Argued and questioned my intelligence. Please read all as you probably need to! Just been to the okapi restaurant in Sai Kung. Ordered the soup of the day for starter which I was told it was creamy broccoli soup! Clearly didn't have one but of broccoli it but a mixture of old veg trimmings boiled down, blended with a load... Yesterday evening we had dinner at Okapi in Sai Kung with 8 people. We were seated on the first floor, at the balcony. It started out with the restaurant being very cold and having a nasty draft going around us. Second our waitress could not open a wine bottle, she was struggling on a table nearby nearly killing the bottle.... More

Okapi looks very impressive from the outside and, upon entering, interior is impressive as well. A formal setting with immaculate white-linen tablecloths sets the stage nicely for lunch. Set menu had quite a few items to choose from and, seeing as this is a Belgian restaurant, with Belgium being the home of "French"-fried potatoes, I figured that if anywhere in... More

We were looking for a restaurant in Sai Kung and decided on Okapi after reading your site. Surprisingly, seats were still available on Saturday evening. We ordered a Belgium favourites with mussels in pot with creamy soup. The portion is good and taste great, may be a bit too creamy for the health conscious. My wife ordered a vegetarian angel...
