Views are great! Restaurant has a nice atmosphere. We tried some Cantonese dishes. My wife had a cashew chicken (wok fried chicken w cashews, chilies and spicy sauce) with very good hoisin type sauce that was just a little spicy. For appetizers we had a deep fried honey glazed mushroom (one of the best dishes). I had a lobster hot... More

My wife and I were dinner guests at One Harbour Road. The ambiance, service staff and meal were all outstanding. The Peking Duck was served expertly. We enjoyed a traditional meal and enjoyed the evening very much. The beautiful city view only complements a wonderful evening with friends. We will surely return when in Hong Kong again.

Enjoyed a nice meal at One Harbour rd, a Cantonese restaurant within the Grand Hyatt Restaurant has a lovely ambience, with views across the Harbour. Food was traditionally Chinese without the western fusion often associated with Asian restaurants. We had the set menu, a series of about 8 courses with a different wine per course. Food was very good, though... More

My first visit to the One Harbour, so impressed with the ambience. But what blow me away was the excellent service rendered by Kevin. He's so attentive and yet at the same time not too intruding.

This restaurant is a superb option for high-end chinese cuisine in Hong Kong. It is based in the grand Hyatt on central Hong Kong. It was easy to book a table online, and the restaurant kept in contact via email to ask about dietary requirements and advance orders (some dishes need to be ordered 24hrs in advance). The service was... More

Came here for a business dinner . A rather cavernous restaurant with 2 floors and good view on the 8th storey. Looking dated though with old fashioned marble. Also noticed the dishes are rather expensive Ordered the usual Cantonese delicacies - roasted meats, turnip pancake, pork with wrap, vegetables in lobster broth.mall ranged from good to very good. But without... More

Quality of food is horrible and the service is unexpectedly bad. I arrived 30 min before my booking time advance to explain that I wanted the skin of the peking duck served separate from its meat but it was of course served together. The restaurant wasn't full and though my table was booked only a week in advance, we were... More

This is the Chinese restaurant at the Grande Hyatt, Hong Kong. One usually is careful, to say the least, about hotel restaurant. And often with good reasons. But this one definitely is 'something else' and a very special place to savour Chinese food in its most sophisticated and best form! We went twice for dinner. To start with, the ambience... More

Stayed at the Grand Hyatt and booked in to the restaurant and pre-ordered Peking Duck. I come here with the family every now and then. Always of a high standard. Decor is spacious - in fact as spacious as you get for Chinese restaurant in Hong Kong. Decor - pleasant and classy but not luxurious. Ambience - just about right. Service - what you expect from a Grand Hyatt. Food is as good as it... More

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
