The food we had here was excellent - roasted meats YUM. Service was fine and the place has a warm and bustling atmosphere. Will return.

We were living nearby and came off a long flight and saw this place was open. We ordered their roast meats and steam chicken (I personally preferred the chicken to the pork) and wow, we were really surprised at how good it was! Even the condiments were bursting with flavor and I greatly enjoyed their tea that had a slight... More

We saw this restaurant a few days ago but had a long line up at lunch time. We decided to try tonight as not as busy. The food was not expensive, but was dearer than some restaurants near by. BUT food is worth it! We did the $50 deal of 2 roast meats with rice & soup. Also did the... More

Nice BBQ meat but very pricey. Supposed to open till 10pm but by 9 they had started to close. Were kind enough to stay open for us. Staff members were pleasant. Would go back if in need of a quick fix for roast meat

If you want good roast goose and not pay premium prices in HK, go to Wah Fung. A block away from Yung Kee, not as fancy decorated as Yung Kee but food is great for the price you pay! Yung Kee is over rated and their goose has deteriorated in taste and they are too pricey!

Wah Fung…. Decent little restaurant this !! We were wondering around Central Hong Kong, down the side streets and alleyways looking for something local and decent. We came across this place, was very busy, some interesting offerings on the menu so we dived in. Have to say, the Pork and Chicken sweet and sour was v good, the chilli squid... More

Was rather empty when we went for late dinner. Most of the roast were sold out by then. Ordered a steam fish traditional Cantonese style as recommended by a friendly staff and a Claypot roast pork belly , tofu and fried bean curd sticks. The daily soup had a homely feel and great flavour. The fish was very fresh and... More

Unfortunately worst meal we had in two weeks in Asia. Got the wrong dish and informed them three times (what we ordered was right there on the receipt). They didn't care at all and pointed at the bland vegetarian steamed rice and said it was what we ordered. Umm. No. The sweet and sour pork we got was just a... More

We are staying a couple of doors down at the Wellington and wanted a quick, easy meal close-by. What a find! Delicious, moist roasted meat. Great service and reasonable prices. We had the roasted pork and roasted duck, ginger and egg white fried rice and a stir fry vegetable dish with oyster sauce + Chinese tea. Total cost HK$311. Highly... More

Stumbled on this family run restaurant about 5 years ago and now always visit it when in Hong Kong. It was established in 1941 and remains popular with locals (most of clientele) and visitors alike. Specialises in roast meats and does some great pork dishes (e.g. char siew). The deep fried century egg wrapped with squid paste/prawn paste is very... More
