Had heard of this chain of stores and chanced upon it one evening while we were walking along Jordan Road. We had intended to order the mango flavour double steam milk and in the end, a mango milkshake came instead. It was a wonderful mistake. The milk is not overpowering. Very smooth and not overly sweet. Made with fresh mangoes.... More

We managed to get a table at late hours to taste test the steamed milk pudding. This dessert was very popular with locals.Unlike the Australian Diary Company, seating was less bit more spacious. We took on the waiter's recommendation of the cold version and a hot milk and ginger pudding. The cold milk pudding was like smooth, soft and milky... More

Milk pudding has always been my favourite food. Tried a few of them in HK, but this remains my first preference.

Based on reviews that say this is a must-try and with a friend as a guide, we went to this place to just try 2 of their desserts. We had a milk and ginger pudding and a steamed egg pudding. Both are very soft and delicious. You have to order the same number of things as the number of people... More

Offering delicious Cantonese desserts: milk pudding and egg pudding are both very nice. I visit this shop from time to time. :)

The choc pudding is only available cold, tastes a little like choc mousse but pretty reasonable taste. Yuen Yang tastes average, very little coffee taste. As the alternative to Australia Dairy, I think Australia dairy has better food. However, as a whole, HKG people has relative poor service to patrons that speak mandarin (the issue is they can't speak that... More

I must visit this place when I am in Hong Kong. The steamed milk and egg custard desserts are very refreshing and not too sweet. You can either have them cold or steaming hot. The stall is rather small and there's always a queue to get in. Usually patrons share the tables in the restaurant. You need to be comfortable... More

The ginger steamed milk (hot) is my personal favourite, but they have other varieties too, ranging from papaya to chocolate steamed milk. The consistency is somewhat like soft pudding, and melts in your mouth. If you are a fan of ginger, then a visit to this place for the ginger steamed milk is a must try. The queue moves fast,... Perpetually a queue in this busy street but moves quickly. We ordered double skinned milk, another which is chocolate flavor, iced red bean & ginkgo and mango milk which were all excellent. Staff was attentive and patient which is a big plus in this city's cha Chan teng culture. Highly recommended though it is of a Macau origin.

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamourous or busy as its neighbours Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighbourhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighbourhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
