Hutong is not to be missed! While expensive, the food is fabulous and of course the atmosphere is spectacular. The spicy soft shell crab is a must have. It's a great special occasion place and perfect for guests. Take the Star Ferry from the Hong Kong side and enjoy the ride!

A perfekt Sunday brunch in the best setting in hong kong!!!!! Who dont like spicy food and dumplings and a free flow of bubbles with the best view of hong kong. Only thing missing was the 1000 chilli chicken ( or beggers chicken ) my sichuan favourite.

I booked this hotel based on the fact that you can view the Symphony of Lights show from your table as you eat dinner. Stepping out of the lift, the decor is dark, sultry and very ambient. We had a great window table and the view was outstanding. I thought the food and service was equally as good as the... More

Let start first with the positive which was the view and decoration of the restaurant. Unfortunately for the food it was just ok, taste was good and presentation nice but unfortunately the hot dishes were all served on cold plates or bowls so it was only warm when served and getting cold very quickly. Service was hit and miss and... More

Fabulous Chinese food. So many varieties hard to pick the best. Soups, duck, spring rolls, wagu beef, egg rice, vegetables, spicy pork. Go, you will nit be disappointed!

We thought we were lucky to get a table for two at this place on a Saturday night in holiday season but given the quality of the food I am not surprised. My wife and I both had the tasting menu and the very best you could say was that one of the dishes (soup) was average. After the fifth... More

Restaurant was superbly located with outstanding views. Food was great however we dined at 7.30 pm and they had run out of dishes already by that stage - go figure !! Worth it for view and the food we did have was excellent but the female staff had little of any English and couldn't explain a single dish. In fact... More

Great views and potentially a great menu but staff were underwhelming in their lack of knowledge of the menu. Service was slow and confused. Couldn't explain dishes and two of us ordered same dessert but both plates very different and staff said it was because it was a "random offering". Not even sure what that means!

I was on a business lunch with a Chinese colleague and was appalled by the treatment of her at the hands of rude and judgemental staff. Her paying the bill (on behalf of her company) seemed to cause outrage given the behaviour of the staff. I have never experienced the likes of this on business travel anywhere in the world.... More

This is the third time being there, last more than 5 years ago. The quality of the food is consistent, not necessary the best, or being more precisely, my most favorite. It is kind of fusion style of food. The spicy shrimp with cashew nuts and garlic is the best. The roasted duck is subpar. Other dishes are good, but... More

Description
Reminiscent of an ancient family courtyard in one of Peking's fast disappearing hutongs (courtyard houses set between narrow lanes), Hutong's interiors are set against the most breathtaking skyline of any international metropolis. This is not the only surprise. The sense of adventure and sheer avant-garde creativity continues in the innovating cuisine inspired by the culinary styles of Peking and Shandong province.
