Peace is a nice café/restaurant in the Tai Hang district. The rooms seem a bit dusty, but the food is really very good. We were staying in a hotel in the neighborhood that didn't serve breakfast and luckily discovered Peace. Peace offers breakfast, coffee/tea and cake, as well as hot meals. We mainly had breakfast at Peace. The food was fresh and delicious and the coffee was really good too. I can therefore really recommend Peace.

Casual and relaxing place, not exactly cheap but pretty good food. Have tried its tea set a few times and pretty consistent quality. It was surprisingly full even during the afternoon hours. Overall worth a try if you are in the area

It was a shame that the great food and ambiance was marred by a dishonest staff.
A party of 2 adults and 2 kids, we ordered 3 set lunches to share (included appetiser, drink, and dessert). A server with more seniority (?manager) offered us their freshly made cakes. We asked for the price and she assured us that it was included with the meal, but we were charged $192 for the 4 slices of cake. When we pointed out the error, she adamantly responded that the cakes were not included with the meal. We would not have tried ANY of the cakes had it not been for her insistence that they were "complimentary" because we had already had the dessert included in the meal.

Have frequented Peace for years off and on. Enjoyed the low key atmosphere, creative food, fair prices and free WiFi. Just visited this week and enjoyed it a lot less. Same location, same comfy seating, but with a brand new menu, prices are higher and the food didn’t seem as good or as carefully prepared. Maybe going more mainstream? If so, sad since something seems to have been lost. Also, wait staff spoke so little English that it hampered ordering and communication. Wishing Peace well.

We went past this café the first couple of nights, but tried it for breakfast and again that night and a few times after. The food was excellent on all occasions with a limited but good selection. The staff were always helpful and friendly. The prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend.

I stayed at the Metropark hotel and wanted to try something different for breakfast. I had the weekend eggs benedict special and was pleasantly surprised how good it was. I actually loved the fruit bread it was served on. Such a good idea! The coffee is expertly made as well

As staying at Metropark, this restaurant just 40 feet away so most handy for quick breakfast or takeaway.
Clean and nice, and the food simple and direct make it an easy choice when hurried or hunger pangs struck.
Service was always polite and while not always speedy, they were pleasant.

Visited for breakfast and ordered two different meals. Service was excellent and food arrived within 5mins. Tasty and very filling with food leftover. Only minor negative was tea is made with normal tea bags. Do prefer a tea served in a pot with loose leaves but the waitress informed us of this so that acceptable. The location is good and the cafe itself is small but very warm and relaxing. Full of bright colours and sweet decorations on the walls. Two meals with drinks was $240HK . Recommended especially if you want food with a western flair

Went there for brunch on the last day of holiday, the cafe itself is very comfortable in the environment, with plenty of sunlight reaching it. We ordered 2 lunch set, one risotto and one steak, both come with soup/salad, including a drink. The atmosphere is very relaxing and I had a great afternoon there.

We went here every day, it's a charming little place (right next to the Metro Park Hotel) with a very relaxing atmosphere, the food is great, from Fish & Chips to Chinese, breakfast, launch, dinner, and late night snacks and deserts. Great Coffee. Waite Staff are the best, very friendly and helpful, great idea of sofa's as seating with long tables, to accommodate couples or family's. Again a very relaxing place to unwind, and just to kick back, and watch the neighborhood life go by. We will definitely be back, the next time in Hong Kong.
