Lunch with my family at Pauls was wonderful. Accomodating staff who were happy to put three tables together to fit our party of six. Four of us had the fish and chips which was the special of the day, the scallops were amazing and the linguine delicious. Lovely lunch had by all

Stepping into another dimension when you had enough of HongKong buzz. The lobster roll and baby chicken pair with South African Sauvignon Blanc are just perfect. Don't need to rush, sit back at Paul kitchen and experience a different hongkong.

If you can't fly to Boston then stop by for a fantastic Lobster Roll. The mango salsa gives it a different taste which goes well with the Danish bread. Chips compliment an outstanding sandwich. Great atmosphere with friendly staff. Fish and chips got thumbs up from younger diners. Caesar salad also received a thumbs up from a picky teenager. Baby... More

My first ever visit to Paul's Kitchen! I read about this restaurant online and decided that I wanted to give it a go and I'm glad I did!! Paul was very prompt and patient with all the questions that I had! Upon arriving at his restaurant, we were introduced the menu and we asked for the recommendations. We were not... More

Been there a few times. They serve 3 or 4 course table d'hote menu. They call it English but I find it pan-European (bits of everything). The starters are alright, I have tried the foie gras duo (which was so-so), scrambled eggs with truffle (nice) and the sautee snails (which was good!)... for main course I always have their spring... This is possibly the best place I have EVER eaten!!! We went with no booking and got a fabulous table by the window. The staff were delightful and very attentive but never intrusive. The food was unbelievable...I have never eaten and been so happy at the same time. We both had the 4 course menu and wine. The prices were... More

The food at Paul's Kitchen is ok but not memorable. service staff were great. Due to where they are located, we noticed 2 small bugs crawling on the table. The waiter removed one, we ignored the other. Wine there is good and reasonably priced though

Just had a 4 course dinner at Paul's Kitchen. Food was prepared freshly and in a absolutely right manner - very tasty, pretty natural with a french touch. You can see the chef in the kitchen preparing the food. The restaurant just has a few tables (it seats about 20 to 30 persons). The atmosphere is classy but - due... More

Staying in Sheung Wan

Neighbourhood Profile
Sheung Wan
Unlike most of Hong Kong’s other popular districts, Sheung Wan welcomes wanderers with an easy-going, relaxed atmosphere. Art galleries are plentiful and boutique cafés are tucked away in every side street in the sub district known as “PoHo.” Browse through the vintage clothing and handmade leather goods stores – it’s no surprise fashionistas flock to this area. History enthusiasts will be rewarded with sites of beautiful architecture, reflecting Sheung Wan’s past as one of the earliest settlements by British forces. As night falls, the entertainment scene reveals itself to be just as laid back with its private kitchens, speakeasies and underground bars dotted throughout the area. When in Sheung Wan, everyday feels like the weekend.
