Food here is average in consideration of the prices they charge. Ambience is ok. Service is so so only..

Finally get the chance to write this review as I was very determined to do so someday after I get home. THE MIX. There were five of us. We were sat next to the window facing the great views over the harbour. A bit on the bright side during Sunday afternoon so lowering some blinds would help. Food was good,... More

The setting is great overlooking the harbour. Also the service is outstanding. However, the food is not up to expectation and absolutely not when taking into account the price level. The Hong Kong food scene is very competitive and there are other restaurants that have a more exciting menu.

Had a wonderful dinner here. My favorite location is the Malibu Nobu, but this is a close second. Fabulous views and service, and the food was outstanding! Started with the yellowtail which is always perfect. Had sushi and a few cocktails. Everything was super fresh and delicious. An all around wonderful experience!

I booked a table for me and my wife choosing for a vegetarian menu offered via e-mail by the booking office of the restaurant. The dinner turned out to be a disappointment both in terms of the quality of food and service that demonstrates a level of personal preparation not up to the level restaurant. A huge bill absolutely not... More

Had a family dinner, great food, beautiful decor and a fantastic view of the harbour. Unfortunately, the service was terrible. Cocktails served after the first course. Unattended service staff who lost several orders during the evening.

We ate as a family and have tried London, New York and Malibu. This location was good at the old Regent now the intercontinental so the views were amazing but the atmosphere and lighting were OK. Food was consistent so the rating is more of a comparison....to the other locations

Wow, what a great meal with a great view but really expensive in any currency. I am sure it's not so bad in USD or Euro but in Zar, it is horrendous. I didn't even look at the bill. Just have the credit card to my daughter and she dealt with it.

The views OMG. The food is so fresh. Jason took good care of us. We tried couple of things that were exclusive to the Hong Kong Nobu. I got hot sake plus all the pics I added. Enjoy it.

Description
NOBU, the world's most acclaimed Japanese restaurant, is renowned for its innovative new-style Japanese cuisine by world famous chef Nobu Matsuhisa.
One of the world’s “Hot Tables” by Conde Nast Traveler USA on its prestigious “Hot List”. NOBU InterContinental Hong Kong, showcases Nobu’s signature dishes, as well as new creations using local ingredients.

NOBU InterContinental Hong Kong was designed by the Rockwell Group, who created the original NOBU in New York in 1994 and has designed many of the NOBU restaurants internationally. With panoramic views overlooking Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong Island, NOBU InterContinental Hong Kong features a stunning yet intimate dining room inclusive of a sushi bar. Both the bar lounge and exclusive private dining room (for up to 14 guests) also have magnificent views of Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong Island.
The design of NOBU InterContinental Hong Kong is inspired by Chef Nobu Matsuhisa's innovative cooking and the imagery of the Japanese countryside where he grew up. Traditional and modern Japanese elements, combined with the influence of water inspired by the adjacent Victoria Harbour, culminate in this intimate, yet dynamic dining experience. Food and architecture evolve into waves of movement and serenity. Key design elements within the restaurant include a unique undulating sea urchin ceiling and custom-made bamboo embedded terrazzo. At the bar, a cascade of black riverstones frames glistening imagery of Japanese cherry blossoms, a signature feature of the Nobu experience.
Open daily for lunch and dinner; serves Afternoon Tea every Saturday and Sunday from 2:30-5pm.
