Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Dined at Capo (Sai Ying Pun, Midlevels, HK) for the first, and last time (2 people); it was an unpleasant and threatening experience. There were 3 other tables of lunch guests in the whole restaurant at 1 pm. After seeing 2 people at the nearest...table sharing a 12-inch pizza, we ordered a pizza to share but the server said the minimum order is 2 dishes so add something like another pizza or pasta. We started saying we couldn't eat two pizzas but the server just walked away (we thought we heard "You can leave", but gave the benefit of the doubt whether this meant leave the uneaten food or leave the premises.) We noticed the next table were sharing a salad with their pizza. After 10 minutes without seeing the server, we signaled to the server to return and asked if ordering a salad or dessert could be allowed as dish 2 because we were going to order dessert anyway. The server said it was allowed, so we ordered a pizza and tiramisu. After we finished the pizza, the server suddenly said we were lucky to get served because they don't serve arrogant customers. We said we didn't know that saying not being able to finish two pizzas was arrogant. We apologised and said we were sincerely grateful for giving special permission for dessert to be counted as dish 2. The reply was: I am the owner. Don't come back, we don't serve arrogant customers like you. We said we didn't understand this reaction but please could we have the dessert. After dessert when we asked for the bill, the server repeated that customers should be clear about the 2-dish policy or can leave. We again expressed thanks that we were permitted to share a pizza and dessert, and the policy itself was not a problem; if pressed to order 2 mains, we would have simply asked to take the extra food home, as we just wanted to try the restaurant's food for the first time. But the server replied that just because it's the pandemic, customers shouldn't be arrogant, so please don't ever return. We felt extremely confused, uncomfortable, upset and unsafe, so we said thank you very much and gave a $20 tip for not ordering 2 mains, and we left as quickly as possible. We will not be returning to this restaurant or restaurant group, both out of our choice from the horrible experience (food included: the pizza was soggy in the middle and had 2 inches perimeter of dry plain crust, and the tiramisu tasted mostly of plain cream, but we did not disclose this and said the food was fine) and because it seems the owner banned us for not ordering two pizzas.More

Cant force guests to pay a minimum charge per head, its not the money but in principle its wrong, its up to ones choice if they wish to spend more or average usually its always on the higher end, pasta and pizza was just average,...dough needed more salt, wines need to be chilled properly specially whites, service could improveMore

Booked this venue for our once a week friendly catch up with work mates but did not quite end up happy. Our buratta and cold cuts weren’t fresh, Prosecco wasn’t chilled, beer was flat. We ended up only having drinks and a nibble and leaving,...service was good overall.More

Delicious Italian food. We came on a Sunday night and both the food and the service was super nice! 10/10 would recommend. Check out the photo of the Burrata and Salumi misti, it was delicious 😋.

We checked the internet comments and really want to have a good lunch with nice Italian food. However, the Pizza was poor and not crunchy and tuna was smelly, the pasta was cold when it severed on the table. We think the cheesecake would be...best but it was just fair and not such highly recommended on the comments. Even the coffee, cappuccino were delivered over 15 minutes. Poor service and it was charged in high price. It wasn't worth and I won't back again. Do think there are many good restaurants offering in HK.More

I have no idea (other than paid reviews) why this restaurant is so highly rated.. the food is badly cooked and over priced. Staff are rude and hasty. Bad experience and I won’t visit again.

You should never go to a restaurant which just disrespect customer’s choice and privacy of not using the so called Leave Home Safe App. No matter food are good or bad, those lines should never cross.

Tried this restaurant last year after coming across some good reviews. Have to say that was a HUGE disappointment and it wasn't a pleasant experience. With this price tag, I have way better options. The food was bland and service was rude. Do they have...to stuff so much tomato sauce on a stale bread? Pasta was another disaster. Probably the saltiest I've ever had. The cold cuts and cheese platter was ok but I can just get it from supermarket. I could probably give it a 2 stars for the cozy environment but the rude and unfriendly service ruined the day for us. Not recommended *Just to clarify the one i visited is in Central. Sai Ying Pun one maybe better but I probably won't try given the poor experienceMore

Food was okay, the service was terrible and really slow. The antipasti with the mains took a while to be presented.

I am from the UK and every time I have visitors we...go, the house white is my favourite as well as the Aperols. Bruschetta starters to share. Then a pizza and pasta to share between two.
