Ok, this is a bit pricy for a bakery, but OMG... By far the best bakery you will find in Beijing, if not in the whole China. The food there is delicious. As good as in France, and even in France that would be high quality. We bought cake there every year for my wife's birthday. Never disappointed.

We go to Beijing to work a couple times a year. Total about 5 or 6 weeks. We always love to locate in apartments near Comptoirs De France. We seldom fix breakfast at home. Too easy to walk a few blocks to have a superb breakfast in a fine atmosphere. Great French pastries; superb coffees and espresso beverages to kick... More

Really good place to have breakfast or take a break in the afternoon... And just eat a croissant, have a cappuccino or an expresso. Their macarrons are also really tasty! :)

This is a lovely little bakery that offers delicious breads and pastries for take away or a brief bite-in. They have very few tables, so it's not a good spot for large groups. Menus are in Chinese and English, and staff often speaks English as well. In addition to pastries, they offer sandwhiches and salads. The chain now does some... More

Service is very quick and our tea was brought straight away. Nice touch getting a free treat with hot drinks. My mate Tom said its the kind of place you could write a novel on your Mac book. Ross was too warm and insisted he was wearing the correct attire for the climate.

I used to love this place. I'd get their chicken curry baguette, chocolate eclairs and coffee delivered to my apartment a few times per week. But then they stopped making chicken curry baguettes... The service in their cafe is HORRIBLE. I've been many times and I just can't figure it out. The staff don't want to work. Their food is... More

Their pastries are great! I love the escargot with coffee. Follow their wechat for offers. For example, in June every Tuesday you buy 1 get one free for coffee or every Thursday buy one macaron and get one free. After 7.30 pm, go for the half price pastries, sandwiches and salad.

Visited this restaurant several times during my business stay for 3 weeks in Beijing. It's behind the JW Marriott and it's about a 10 min walk. It's a small, quaint, cozy, reasonable and clean place where you can get coffee, breakfast, lunch, pastries and free internet! Even though I'm not a coffee person and can't tell the difference between good/bad... More

The best baguette so far in Beijing is their "rustico." Don't buy the classic, it's cakey and sweet. The croissants are good, but sometimes soggy, if later in the day.
