RECOMMENDED: This is my 2nd review, the previous nearly 5 years ago. Precious little has changed. The big positive - they now accept credit cards! This Prix Fixe menu makes life easier for a dinner with friends, relations or business associates. Only figure out what you wish to drink. The intimate setting makes for a nice evening out. The food... More

The food was great! This is not a budget option the price per person set menu ¥150.It works out 2 dishes per person we couldn't finish all the food.So if you are 6 people you wil get approximately 12 different dishes to experience.

Lovely courtyard settings, romantic atmosphere, it feels special. However the food is very average Yunnanese. For 150 fixed menu it is not a good deal - especially for vegetarians (I asked for more food, they brought me scrambled eggs.. I left hungry.) There are plenty of Yunnanese restaurants in the vicinity, with better taste, albeit plainer looks. Better to book... More

A wonderful, courtyard restaurant serving Yunnan cuisine. There is no menu … you get seven courses of what the chef chooses (they ask about food allergies ... in good English). Beautifully, freshly cooked food. Four out of seven dishes were vegetables. Don’t expect coffee or dessert. Fixed price 150 Yuan per person (about $35 Australian dollars). Probably expensive by Beijing... More

There is no menu for ordering food as they have fixed dishes for 150RMB pr. person. We enjoyed it and tried some really good food we hadn't had ordered ourselves. The food was good and the waiters quite flexible. As we were three they just moved a two person-table and added a chair. It seemed, however as if we were... More

The food is nice, and the fact that there is no menu to choose from makes it very easy to decide what to eat. The waiters asks for allergies, so you will not eat something that you could make you ill. There is a reasonable choice of wines and other drinks. The taste of the food is great - fresh... More

This was one of my favorite meals in Beijing. I ate here after a long day exploring the city. Food was excellent and it's in a very peaceful courtyard setting. Great place to go wind down after exploring the hutong.

As we don't get many evenings to spend together as couple, on times when we get one, we try to visit some nice places and restaurants. Last week we have decided to visit Dali Courtyard. I liked the place, even though it is a little difficult to find. We went there from Beixinqiao by Mobike. The atmosphere inside was nice... More

I took some friends here on their first day in China and we were all blown away but the quality, taste and variety of the dishes. The fish especially was some of the best I've ever had in 5 years living in China. Very fresh and flavourful. The waitress also came and deboned it for us. There was no menu,... More
