Jahazi Coffee House is an excellent private meeting point for Coffee lovers out to experience this centuries-old coastal pastime. Great for authentic Swahili beverages and light snacks, served in the real Swahili set-up.

Jihazi offers delicious food in a comfortable and clean and environment. The decor is warm and inviting. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the mango smoothies are just amazing! A wonderful "Swahili" experience and can't wait to go back again.

Love hanging out in Jahazi for some samosas, chai, and/or juice! Very welcoming and laid back. Located in old town, Jahazi is a great reprieve from the busy Mombasa streets with fresh juice!

Excellent , cosy, relaxed atmosphere. Typical Swahili environment. The food is great and quite cheap. Unfortunately no alcohol is served here except for refreshments. This coffee house is very unique in Mombasa and has a friendly and helpful service. We loved it.

If you want to enjoy swahili food and drinks just the way the Swahili would do, then there is no better place to be than Jahazi! They have a unique set-up that truly reflects the Swahili culture- the seating arrangement and ambiance!

Having visited Fort Jesus, we stumbled upon this lovely little restaurant in Old Town and what a great find it was. Authentic Swahili furniture and cuisine. You must try the spiced Swahili Coffee and Halwa, absolutely delicious. Can't wait to go back and have a full meal.

I have been to Jahazi a few times now and have really enjoyed it. My favorite meal is the fish stew with coconut rice and halwa for dessert. The spiced chai is really good, too. It is fun to sit in the back room on the pillows and cool down after walking through Old Town. Lovely people, nice atmosphere.
