A lot has been happening at the famed Lord Errol Gourmet Restaurant in Runda lately. A new chef, Chef Isaac, a rejigged team under the very amiable and hands-on Zahra Bahlewa, more personal attention to clientele and of course, that intimate ambience that The Lord Errol has always been known for. Went for a lunch business on a sunday, and... More

We had an evening tea and snacks at The Lord Erroll. Thanks Grace for the awesome service and time that you gave us. We will definitely come back for lunch or other wise.

The location and ambience in keeping with the name makes one feel like a Lord. The surrounding beautiful lawn with flowing waterfall is a pleasure as one breathes freshness while relishing the meals.

Lovely meal, hit or miss service. Nice ambiance with candles and heating lamps on the patio, with the sounds of frogs and birds in the gardens. The weiner schnitzel was quite tasty, and my companion liked his seafood selections too.

While I liked the atmosphere of The Lord Erroll, particularly the bar area, the food was pretty average. Also, mosquitos were terrible outside on the porch. Service was so-so.

I was really looking forward to our evening meal at the Lord Erroll hoping very much that it would be in the style of the infamous Lord himself. Luckily our driver found the place down a narrow drive close to the UN building and many embassies including the heavily fortified Canadian & US complexes. There is free parking in the... More

An office 3 day training was held there. Very close to the UN offices. Nice venue for conferences and business related meetings. Lunch provided is OK. Surrounding is not noisy thus ideal for trainings and conferences to take place.

Lord Eroll is situated in Runda area close to UN and has been refurbished. The restaurant is build in a colonial style and has a beautiful garden and a very cisy terrace. The food is excellent, service is very friendly. Really enjoyed my evening and the food.

I had heard a lot of great things about The Lord Erroll, but it wound up being just so-so. They didn't have a lot of the food on the menu. Also, they didn't have half the wines on the wine list. And, for the wine, they didn't even tell us they didn't have the bottle we ordered. We'd ask after... More

I took my wife to The Lord Errol for dinner on a Thursday evening during a visit to Nairobi. We called ahead to book a table. The venue setting is superb, but that is it. We ordered dinner from the a la carte menu. It sounded nice - the seafood selection at Ksh2,200 (USD$22) but it was a disappointment. One... More
