Fantastic service. We were given really good attention - and good recommendation of wine. We had beef fillet and spare ribs - and we were both very satisfied. The atmosphere is calm - not noisy at all like so many other Nairobi restaurants. A really relaxing dinner.

Dinner by the pool or inside a fine hotel but are beautiful. I prefer out by the pool. The food is upscale ad very good. I'd go back many times for the Crispy Salmon Nori and Big Time Chocolate!!!

I went for dinner on a Wednesday night. There were plenty of servers but the service was terrible. I asked for wine they never brought it. I asked for my check they never brought it. I finally got up and went to the restroom. When I returned someone was waiting with my check. Service is usually great but not tonight.

We got a private room as the group was large but it suited us perfectly. Both the appetizer and main food options were great as was the wine.

We love to go to The Tribe restaurant almost every Friday night. Our 9-year-old loves it. We love the food and service, and my husband is a Chef de Cuisine, so we know what we are talking about. Can it get better? yes, if the dishes were less elaborate and more succulent. Regardless, we love the ambiance and always come... More

The restaurant is part of the Tribe hotel, where I stayed for a few weeks. I ordered something small from Jiko basically every evening and everything I tried was fresh, nicely presented and tasty. I got addicted to their vegetable tempura - you know those fried things that are not greasy and feel as light as a cloud? That's it!... More

Nice apps and decent drink selection. Nice selection of local beers. Staff was busy with two parties yet service was good.

I actually got engaged at Tribe hotel and we ate at Jiko that evening. It was okay - the food was good, but not stellar or anything, and with the price you are paying I would say it isn't exactly worth it. Perhaps I'm biased because I was in fact staying at Tribe Hotel which is overly priced for the... More
