It's beautiful. End of. Unfortunately everything other than what it looks like is pretty terrible. The service is bad, slow and you feel like you're being a burden every single time you ask for anything! You need the patience of a saint to have lunch here. The order is wrong and that's IF they have your first two choices on... More

Rolfs place is a wonderful place, the magnificent views, the over hanging bridge, the valley, all these come together to give the place tranquil, picturesque, beautiful setting for a weekend outing. Service could be better, food can be improved on and swimming pool management can be worked on

I love going to Rolf's with friends and family after a visit to Kitengela Glass. In the past the food had been good but had always taken a lot of time. I expected this so it was ok. On the most recent visit I called way in advance to tell them I had a large group. I confirmed the day... More

First off, it looks like it has been built on a cliff. I love the architecture. Then, there is the hanging bridge which gives a breathtaking view and the restaurant which has good and remarkably affordable meals. My friend and I had a great view of the serene lands while having lunch. There is also paint ball in the vicinity... More

The view is magnificent. The hanging bride one and only. And that is almost all. Food is tasty, but be careful what you order. If you order Veal, unless you ask, they will not tell you through the menu that includes pork also. Service is veryyyyy slooooow. It seems there are more waiters than cooks/chefs. Logistic is a a bit... More

On a public holiday you'd imagine that there would be ready for a busy day. Instead only 2 waiters were working - and the service was slow and grumpy. We ordered 2 sides of chicken wings which instead of being grilled or fried, where stewed as with a sloppy soup. Multiple food and drink items listed in the menu were... More

The location is spectacular with the outdoor dining tables literally situated over a small gorge and the suspension bridge from the parking lot that leads you to the hotel and restaurant was fun to cross. We were seated right away and give our menus, embossed animal fur covers and tired menus on the inside. Ordering took a while as our... More

It's a bit of a drive to get there on a dodgy road and through a neglected part of the city. Once there, the lodge looks impressive and we were greeted by a Masai in dress. I thought the team were polite and helpful. I'm not sure what the 'sirloin' steak was however, unfortunately it was all gristle and inedible.... More

Terrible service-It took 2 hours to get a meal and 30 minutes to get the bill. To top it all, they did not have change for 1,000/-. Terrible oily food. The mutton was extremely fatty The atmosphere is good but It does not make up for the bad food and service. The food was also quite pricy.

The location is picture-perfect, including a long suspended bridge to walk from the parking to the restaurant, which overlooks a small vegetated canyon with a stream. Sadly, the food is dull and overpriced, and they do not accept card payments.
