Hung out here with my parents on a Saturday night. It was a great introduction to Nairobi for them. The live music was fantastic! We had a great time.

Great ambiance. Service is good. Basic choice for alcoholic drinks. Food is simple but tasty: Goat meat, pork belly, chicken, spinach or kale cooked well... On Tuesdays, the band plays African jazz and on Thursday it's Reggae. The band is amazing! This where you want...More
Nairobi's party hub. Great for after work drinks or even a weekend out with friends. Parking is a bit hard to get on the weekends, as it gets very crowded. Awesome music and mature crowd. Great selection of drinks plus food and very clued in...More
Amazing and safe venue for mixing with local Nairobians, with non-stop entertainment seven days a week and great venue to watch live football & other sports ! A definite must to experience whilst in Nairobi !
This place has stood the test of time.I started visiting way back in 2003.Good chill-out spot for drinks with friends on weekend nights though on weekday nights you will still find a kicking party.Good music, good value for money.
Was here for an evening. The music was really good with a mixture of various genres. Am told there are theme nights so a caution that you may visit during one of those. The cocktails were good but the service was slow.

Cocktails, food and drinks and at the eveneing we were there also live music and salsa dancing. Terrace area and friednly staff.
The only negative is the street parking. Other than that, the bar has all the elements of a perfect location: well priced drinks, quirkyly dressed barmaids, cheap nibbles, sports, and excellent lighting ( really). There's always something happening at K1!
