Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Oasis Palace is such a great place to have a meal. Very clean, friendly staff, absolutely good food for reasonable prices. Went there couple times, will be going again. I highly recommend.

The atmosphere of cafe is very nice, clean hospital. The food is excellent, like homemade. And the price is reasonable.

This is a great spot to eat if you're near Luxor temple or museum. It is run by an English speaking Egyptian/American. It is decorated with lots of old cool stuff. It has a great atmosphere, quiet and private. The food is excellent and well...priced.More

We had lunch here as it was rated highly on trip advisor & Lonely planet & we definitely weren’t disappointed. The food was delicious. We had two veg tagines- my fella had his spicy & loved it. My was also really tasty. We also had...three drinks between us & all up came to about 230 EGP. So a really great price. The service was great. Some of the best we’ve had in Egypt. They are renovating at the moment but are still open. We would go again if we stayed another night.More

The location, near the Luxor Museum, is very handy. The decor is nice, and the food was tasty. The WIFI worked just fine. But the prices are a little high for egypt The service was a little on the slow side even though we were...the only guests, and we just ordered sandwiches.More

It is a mid-range place with its very own deliberately dated feel. The menu provides the best of Egyptian cooking at a moderate price. It is near to the wonderful Luxor museum and a visit there is easy to combine with a meal here.

This little cafe just around the corner of the Eatabe Luxor Hotel was what got us through our 2 nights in Luxor. The hotel had the WiFi broken so we were desperate to find someplace we could use the internet (we needed to buy a...tour and some tickets). The staff is very nice and the place has an amazingly vintage vibe. Great coffee, great food.More

Our cruise boat reached Luxor quite in ahead of our schedule. Dinner was quite away and so we decided to get off and walk on the corniche. We had walked a lot as we were enjoying the evening stroll after 3 days of cramped life...on the cruise boat. We saw this cafe and wanted to have some water. So we thought it would be good to have some coffee. The coffee was good and hot. Some people were eating other items which smelled good. But dinner was waiting for us on the boat, so we had to leave.More

This is a charming restaurant with charming and helpful staff to match. Food is middle eastern in style, lots of menu options, generous servings, good presentation - and great taste! You can sit and relax for an hour or three, the staff will not mind.

This restaurant seems like an Oasis in Luxor: calm and clean, it have Many different kind of dishes with mear, chicken or fish, besides breakfest and desserts. But the more incredible is: there are the colder beer of Egypt! We drink a juice and two...beers, two dishes and one salada, plus on dessert. Our bill was LE$ 256,00 (today U$1,00=LE$18,00). The attendent was reaIly great. I recommend!More

I stumbled across this place and saw positive reviews on TA so thought I would give it a try. I ordered the Thai chicken curry, as I wanted a change of pace from local Egyptian fare. It was OK, but I think calling this Thai...curry is quite a stretch. It was quite bland and tasteless. And why would they allow smokers in the non-smoking section? Why even have a non-smoking section at all? I can’t speak for the rest of the menu, but I would pass on this place especially at the price.More
