Wow! Felfela was a very nice discovery. We were around the area and we told our guide we'd like to have some food. He took us to Felfela. We came back again because we loved it! Its shawerma is delicious! And it's very cheap, by...the way... and delicious!More

you must try it before you leave Egypt. A great place for lunch during a day walking about the city. A quiet hideaway that is welcoming to tourists. Very good food at reasonable prices.

Our group bus stopped here for lunch on the way to the Pyramids. Wow! The best falafels ever, so good in fact we ordered a second one. Highly recommended for a quick lunch stop.

We had 2 meals as a group at this restaurant while staying at the Le Meridien Pyramids hotel close by. The food was nice with various Egyptian dishes and the staff were friendly. The venue is unlicensed with only soft drinks on offer but they...have a range of exotic drinks. They also provided a packed lunch (Egyptian flat bread and falafels/cheese) for us one day. Prices were reasonable.More

When looking for a place to eat dinner I can across this place and it had good reviews so we Figured why not. It was just around the corner from our hotel “Le Meridien Pyramids” and was only a short 5 min walk. There are...two places with the same name and I am not sure if it is the same restaurant, one is just a sandwich pickup window and the other is a sit down and get served type of place. We did the sit down one. I got the lamb shoulder which was very tender and simply fell apart in your mouth. The flavor was excellent and it was a large plate with enough food for 2-3 people and was only about $25US. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.More

Honestly, the place to go for yummy very reasonably priced Egyptian food. I live fairly close by and we stop on the way home at the takeaway area if there aren’t too many people. The best hamburgers! If you want to try traditional breakfast, falafel...flatbread sandwiches or with beans or French fries and grilled eggplant, with or without homus and salad - so delicious. And do try the Howoshi it’s a minced meat mixture stuffed in flatbread and grilled, so good especially on a cold day when it’s served very hot. You can also buy shawarma or grilled liver in sandwiches too. The takeaway area is busy and friendly, popular with visitors and locals. You can eat inside too and the menu is more extensive. The pyramids are very nearby and if you’re visiting, you can grab breakfast there on your way.More
