Having been there many times before I was looking forward to a great meal. What a huge disappointment. The food was attrocious. We asked for our dishes to be extra spicey and instead it was so bland. When we brought this to their attention we were given a plate of raw green chillies with the previous meal. When I mentioned... More

We had visited this place with a group of 100 people during our trip to Egypt. They managed the crowd really well and took good care of us. The buffet dinner was very good. This was a welcome relief for all of us, since for previous 2 evenings we were in another not so good place for dinner. But why... More

Best Indian food we've had in Egypt. We've been several times and enjoyed every dish we've ordered. You can also order of Raoucha's Lebanese menu, but we haven't tried that. We love Kandahar's Indian food too much! Restaurant is on the the northwest end of Gameat Al-Dewal Al-Arabeya Street, almost to 26 July corridor. (If you see it on the... More

Starters weren't hot, staff were lackluster and not particularly friendly (they also had no concept of personal space when clearing played!) naan was burnt, food generally ok but nothing special, very overpriced. If you're looking for a good Indian I would prefer Maharani in Downtown Mall in Sheik Zayed - a little further to travel but definitely worth it! I... More

This place has been around for more than 20 years and it has kept up its standard and quality. Their Indian master chef prepares the food well and portion sizes are quite generous (two could even share dishes for one, actually). We tried the murgh chicken tikka which was perfect, the boiled potatoes with cumin, buryani rice with vegetables, ..... More

Though traffic is a hurdpe to reach here..but the taste and feel at this resturant is awesome. Nepali cook does it great with raita to gulb jamun.. Must visit if you are carving for authentic indian food..staff is dressed in indian attire..gazals of gulam ali creats the enviornment. Ambience is too good. Specially the Shrinathji pichvai at the entrance.

This restaurant has been around for many years, and has still kept up its appearance, service and quality of authentic Indian food. The waiters are quite friendly and alert and the food is quite tasty. We tried the chicken tandoori which was superbly marinated and grilled. We also had the famous butter chicken (Murgh Makhani) which was amazing and cooked... More
