First impressions, i did not know what to think, really loud music, after your ears settle it's a nice spot for lunch. We ordered the potato and bacon pizza, spicy tomato pasta and a salad pasta, altogether it cost just over 50,000₩. Food was simply supberb, great italian dishes with tasteful and sensible korean additions. The hot tomato pasta had bulgogi with shreaded cheese on top added, paired with the sauce and pasta fantastically. If you're in Gangnam I highly recommend this resturant. The kithen is noisy as chefs are shouting out at eachother, but that's a fine example of great communication in the kitchen which results in amazing food delivered to your table. Kudos to the head chef and owners.

Cool concept with live DJ (music may be a bit on the loud-ish side) and construction site theme. Some servers speak English which is great for foreigners, all servers however are super kind and very eager to help. We ordered a Pizza which was exceptional, very thin crust - in fact unlike usual western eating style, you eat the pizza with a spoon. We were lucky to find a place immediately because as other reviewers noted it is constantly packed. If I'm ever in Seoul again, will definitely visit. Price is very reasonable.

Came with my girlfriend for some pizza. Place was overcrowded and we spent 20 minutes waiting our turn outside. Inside was very cold and super noisy. The music is loud and waiters occasionally shout to an extreme level. Food has to be ordered from the bar and if you want to get an extra drink you need to wait in line. After waiting in line for hot tea, they had none to purchase. Positive aspects were a tasty soup pizza and okay sweet chili nachos.

This place if for young Koreans who want a trendy place to hang out and are not familiar at all with decent tasting western food. The pizzas are disgusting. They are essentially cheese and toppings on a hot plate. You have to eat it with a spoon.Go to Brick oven pizza a few blocks away and have real pizza that actually tastes good. Some of the other foods are not bad but as with many Korean restaurants, they focus more on appearance rather than substance or taste. If you want to go for drinks in a trendy place and you don't care how the food tastes, this place is fine. If you want to have a decent meal, there are so many better options around the area.

Went to Mies with 8 friends. We easily got a seat. The food was delicious and not too expensive for Gangnam. Will go again!

Lots of fun, not too expensive and a great place for mega cheese infested pizzas and a construction helmet when you order. Good vibes without being kitsch. Perfect for when you are bored of the Korean BBQs.

When there for lunch on January with several of my friends. The servers were kind even though they can't speak English. I love their big portions so I can share with my friends. The highlight would be their risotto.

The atmosphere here is pretty cool. While the music that plays is too loud and is just a repetitive, upbeat EDM drumming, the staff seems to go out of their way to be friendly, with most of them indeed being "high-energy males" who high-five you when you receive your food (watching the Korean customers' reaction to this phenomenon is funny). However, when talking about the food itself, I can't be as positive. It's not that it's bad - it was definitely interesting - but there were spicy gochu peppers included in it that weren't stated on the menu, and I don't like spicy food. Also, the utensils given for the food they serve are simply not sufficient. I was given a butter knife to cut the 13,000-won hot dog pizza that was stuck to the pan they gave me, and needless to say, a lot of pizza was needlessly left in the pan because I couldn't get it off. Altogether, the experience was okay, but this place is really busy and really pricey for what it offers.

Whenever people in their girls in their teens or early twenties ask me for restaurant recommendations in Seoul, this is on the list. The food is unique with popular menus like the salad pasta, pan cheese pizza (which you eat with your fork), and french fries (they have great fries). But what makes mies container stand out is the young and fun atmopshere. The restaurant has loud music and it is decorated like a construction site. The waiters are all energetic and they give you a high five once all your food comes out. They are located near Gangnam station.

This place has a great post-modern design with house music pumping at full volume so if you're looking for a bar-like or party-like experience while you're eating then this is the place to be. Packed with locals and a menu full of creative food like dough-less pizza and a pasta salad/garden salad hybrid this is a place that is definitely fun to eat at. Note: foodies will not like this place as the food is has a fast-food slop-house style and taste to it. Still, I highly recommend it for a modern Seoul dining experience

Ate here after seeing it on a top ten restaurants around Gangnam Station list and was not disappointed! The decor, which is award-winning, is amazing and the most unique I've seen thus far in Korea. The food is incredibly delicious, albeit not the healthiest option as everything seems to be smothered in cheese.... Which is why it's so amazingly delicious!! The portion sizes are massive. Two entrees, meaning a salad and a "pan cheese," which some people online have called a pizza but really is more like a very thin layer of dough with a massive pile of oozing cheese and whatever else you order, was too much food for two people. For the quality and amount of food you get, the prices are very reasonable. Prices for beverages are on par with other establishments in the area. The atmosphere here is great and has a really upbeat vibe to it. After we went there I read some more reviews and noticed that almost everyone commented on the fact that the establishment only hires "high-energy, masculine men" to work there. I hadn't noticed it at the time because I was so distracted by the food and decor, but in retrospect that is pretty true. It's certainly nothing of a deterrent, though. The waitstaff were super friendly to both of us (one male and one female) and they have a habit of high-fiving every chance they get (ie: you ordered a salad.. HIGH FIVE!!) so I have absolutely no complaints about them. This place is WELL worth traveling for and if I lived closer I'd be here often!
